Be super carefull I bought this in 2017 and ended up holding until 40k. I mean it worked out but I would not recommend it. It was worth less then 2k at some points. Its almost like they are dangling a worm at us newbies (newbie relative to some) I though "this will never go down" I am gonna wait and buy a whole bitcoin now on the cheap in a year or so (hopefully) IF YA DONT MIND PLEASE FOLLOW ME SO I CAN ACCESS CHAT
I understand where you are coming from, but you also need to consider although the pattern looks the same the things affecting it are completely different this year. There is a lot of support and institutional funding and they are swallowing up tons of bitcoin at the moment.

@cryptout, Just don't forget whatever you buy at you will make it back one day or another if you are HODLing, because we all know in the long run BTC will only go up. Also, the human mind is wired to make patterns. There might be absolutely no lines or trends but if we just adjust the number of bars, timespan, zoom in or out a bit we will always find something.

@HydraOS, I agree. This year shold be growth, ups and downs. at the monment i see 32k bottom and working its way up each day. Big buyers look for these dips though they plan to long it for 100-500k if it ever happens, one day

@sailor0427, I agree that it could hit that its just a metter of when. in 2017 they said "this is going to 30k and it did 2 years later, after it dropped to 3000 lol. If i only wasnt holding the bag i coulda bought it then, next time tho im ready

@cryptout, Yeah, i waited till 11/2018 to buy what i called BitCon. If everybody wanted it in 2017 surely 2018s 4800k coin would be worth something at halving again... and it was. Next halving I will be looking to buying some homes for rental income. Yes ups and downs in between but I think 25k is going to be a solid bottom number as we gain more support outside our enthusiast group selling to friends and family during a pump and FOMO. For the first time we have something the banks will or already want. How often do you have leverage on a bank? Coins are always to position yourself in years to come. My coin has paid back its investment, paid off my car, paid off my debts, soon a home and its last leg is retirement (I am 34). All on a few thousand bucks at the right time. In theory it is still a good time to buy if one day its worth 500k only time will tell but the current direction is on its way… over years. Best of luck, dont give away coins trying to short and getting closed out like at least one of my friends who sold at 20K
