there are multiple other confluence factors on other timeframes i was watching, the market was also trading sideways for around 3 weeks so i would rather sit back and await a break.

@Stefan_v, My personal opinion is subjective if you have rules, don't listen to other traders opinions, if you have rules in place that have been well backtested then stick with them.
