find it interesting, this is the sum of all commodities divided by the money supply. probably doesn't mean anything, anyway interesting. Looking at the parabolic route of m2 and the commodities basket divided by it didn't move as expected because of it's rally the rally. lot's of money still in the markets. give me your perspective and ideas
Nice idea! I like to do this as well. Instead of adding the prices together, which will skew your chart towards the higher priced symbols, maybe consider weighting each one equally (divide each symbol by the lowest price in the series), or weighting each one by estimated total supply.

IMO the chart says that the currency (a.k.a, money) is in the equity space rather than in the precious metal markets.

@LiquidityMaster, it's divided by it, if it ddn't moove much it's because they increases together: 1:1=1. 10:10=1. i think. another interesting one is nasdaq or sp divided by m2..looks like it has quite some more upside to get to dot com levels, i dunno how to charge chart in this comment
