Clearly this SHOULD fall under the umbrella of manipulation, probably a consortium of "penny stocks" gambling-minded traders all collectively getting together, as there are only about 144k total stocks actually available to trade, normally trades in volumes of 100-1000/day and now suddenly is trading in volumes OVER 150k/day...
Can someone please ask those guys to head on over to MACERICH and buy them up to 100/share too? That would be swell.

@mkhoury80, they can always blame the machine that triggered buy orders in sequence. I wouldn't be surprised if that's what's happened but someone made a lot of money...
