Serbian agri co PIK Becej buys vegetable processing plant - report

BELGRADE (Serbia), November 25 (SeeNews) - Serbian farming company PIK Becej, part of local MK Group, bought a vegetable storage and processing facility from local company ABC Food in Ruski Krstur, in the north of the country, local media reported.

With the acquisition of the plant, which it plans to upgrade, PIK Becej aims to expand its processing and storage capacity, media outlet Politika reported on Thursday.

The size of the investment was not disclosed.

PIK Becej officials did not respond to a SeeNews email seeking further information by the time this article was published.

Food producer PIK Becej has been active for over fifty years, selling its output both on the domestic market and abroad.
