Vietnam May consumer prices up 2.86% y/y - statistics office

Vietnam's consumer prices in May rose 2.86% from a year earlier, led by an increase in transportation, food and construction costs, government data released on Sunday showed.

Average consumer prices in the first five months of this year rose 2.25% from a year earlier, the General Statistics Office said in a report.
