About TD Sequential
The Sequential Indicator was first designed by Tom DeMark in the 1970's, by hand, through a process of trial and error. It has since been improved and it is now a trusted indicator by Wall Street’s traders.
TD Sequential can be helpful for market-timing purpose in conjunction to your favorite trading tools. It attempts to isolate prospective...
Oracle Seek Sequential indicator PRO
counts from 1-9
Some improvements over V2.0
1,2 in both colors now more bold , 8 still standouts in yellow in all TF's to high light the potential move
9's indicated by extra large floating numbers , coupled with arrow indicators on top or bottom of chart.
Keep informed and always know when the count is up , or when a...
There are several variations on the classic TD Sequential indicator already published so why do another one would be a fair question to ask. Personally i wasn't fully satisfied with how many of them were implemented so i decided to code my own version from the ground up guided by the rules outlined in Jason Perl's: DeMark Indicators book. Thanks to /u/glaz and...
Slightly modified version of the Tom Demark Sequential indicator. The setup phase doesn't require a number in the opposite direction to restart the count which means a green 1 can show up on the first candle after a green 9.
The setup phase numbers are shown on top of the candles and the countdown below the candles. An aggressive sell/buy countdown number 13 is...
A flexible rendition of TD Sequentials. Many parameters can be adjusted via user input.
With crypto markets trading 24/7, I wanted to adjust the behavior of the sequential counts to "dial in" a market. Default settings replicate the original TD Sequential behavior (9s and 13s), but you can select other numbers to better fit your market and timeframe.
Inspired by glaz TD-Sequential script I wrote my own to also include the TD-Countdown phase.
It is not perfect by any means yet.
A problem is the 'num_hundreds' function which is needed to calculate the next number in the TD-Countdown phase if the numbers are not sequential. At the moment it can handle max 9...
Having all those numbers onscreen doesn't do much for me, so I've made the important ones (i.e. the 9s and 13s) very obvious while hiding the counting. You can re-enable it in settings. Due to Tradingview limitations it can look a bit odd with them enabled, as I have made some sacrifices to prioritised visual simplicity.
I've also added alerts for the 4 different...
This is the first script I publish. Be harsh.
About the indicator : I learned about it yesterday, it's a quite safe indicator since the condition countdown = 13 doesn't happen very often.
Numbers above chart are setup numbers
Big numbers below the chart are countdown Numbers.
Green : buy setup
Orange : sell setup
green star : sucessful buy intersection

Capital Exhaustion Cycles
What is capital exhaustion? To explain it simply: Picture you are working out and eventually hit fatigue, at that point your body signals that you can no longer proceed and need to rest. Capital exhaustion with tradable assets (stocks, cryptocurrencies, etc.) occurs...
Once a 9 count has been reached the trend(up or down) is exhausted and indicates when to open a long or short position fairly accurately. (i find it most accurate on 1hr candles but you can backtest other candle durations to find more/other accurate candle stick times....
Tom Demark's Setup and Countdown script.
1. Sequential Setup
- a) Start setup immediately after the previous setup (default).
- b) Start setup only after the price flip (check the box in the "format" menu).
- Sell setup: green number above the candle, perfected 8 and 9 flip color to blue.
- Buy setup: purple number above the candle, perfected 8 and 9 flip color...

No multi countdown, only one instance per time.
Here you can find some info about TD Setup and Countdown:
Indicator identifies potential price trend exhaustion.
Compares this period against the 4th prior period for the condition.
9 periods (or more) with the same condition is an indicator that the trend is ending soon.
TD Countdown is the "Second Phase" of a TD Sequential.
The idea is that a TD Sequential 8 or 9 with a proper new low signal provides good odds for reversal
If that reversal doesn't happen, that's when the TD countdown happens. TD countdown waits for 13 more new lows (basically) before expiring. Once the TD countdown expires, the odds for reversal will be even...
Shows TD9s from higher timeframes, so you can see daily 9s when you're looking at a 4h chart, for example. They're show as vertical orange and blue bars with directional arrows at the top and bottom of the chart. The higher timeframe will be automatically selected based on the current chart's timeframe, like this:
- Daily shows Weekly signals
- 4h shows Daily...
This is my first strategy. Be harsh. Disclaimer : I am a beginner in trading.
We will focus on eth/btc market.
It is based on Tom Demark's buy/sell setups and countdowns indicator that I published earlier, so I will not re-explain the indicator here.
At first I couldn't make it successful. The countdowns and setups alone aren't enough. I tried several things and...
