Many have asked me if the position was taken or altered in any way due to news.I run strictly on technicals so for me the news wasn't a consideration or a hindrance.
When backtesting my strategy i ran one with fundamentals and one without, taking news into consideration not only added subjectivity within my rules, minimised the amount of positions i took and the profit accumulated over a 5 year period.
