While the price is in a clear uptrend, it makes no sense to consider a change in trend. I think the lateral movement will continue.
In the first scenario, I am considering an option with a slight increase in order to recruit buyers and land them in the demand zone and thereby turn bullish.
In scenario 2, I consider that if there is panic, the price can update the consolidation low and quickly turn around, letting us know that everyone has been dropped off and given a good price to buy
Globally, I see continued growth after the discounted price
