The GfK Consumer Climate Indicator poll is designed to elicit information on respondents on income predictions, buying proclivity, and savings. The poll questions 2000 adults aged 14 years and older. The indicator's components are determined as the difference between affirmative and negative responses to the questions posed. Their value can range from -100 to +100 points, with zero reflecting the long-term average.

A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the EUR while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the EUR.
