Jan16 Analysis
Well I got beat the fuck up yesterday. For London I entered too late on my trade. And in New York I entered to early. Both trade analysis were correct just being too patient and not patient enough. Reading Price that New York was the move form the previous day it seems reasonable for Price to consolidate in London, which it did but saw an expansion at 1 which is when I should have entered. Not trusting I waited until 2 macro and when I started to consolidated I exited with barely a profit.
In New York after the news driver I got in too early and got stopped out. That hurt in profits. However if I would have waited until 930 the set up for the long was there and it did expand to the 50% of the 15M FVG target delivering 35pips.
I noted yesterday for price come take the equal lows and then seek higher to retrace yesterdays inefficiently delivered price and gravitate to the 15M FVG.
I am happy that my analysis is correct. Celebrate that. I also celebrate that for the week Im down 2.5% on my funded trading account, the mistakes Im making are calculated mistakes. I need to also learn what it feels like to not always get the trades to manage my emotions, because the truth is this is part of it. Have to get up the next day, learn from the previous day and get back out there. One trade at a time and one day at a time. I will be a consistent profitable trader.
