UK 10 yr yields "transitory"

V long term UK 10yr yields. You decide. "Transitory".

UK 10yr yields are UP 54bps to 1.6% since I posted this about "transitory" inflation/yields a few months ago. We could get a pause here (same for US10y yields circa 2.25%) but my main view would be that we have another 40-50bps of upside heading our way in coming months.

I posted this UK 10 yr yield chart a year ago suggesting much higher rates but even I didn't expect we'd get to 5% thanks to Government incompetence

BOE held short rates today for the first time in a while.
But the UK is notoriously inflation prone and we may not have seen the end of this cycle by a long shot.
I originally posted this chart 2 years ago in Oct 2021 when UK 10yr rates were sub 1%. They've almost been to 5% in recent months!
