HINDALCO : Closed position and expecting a reversal move
I took my first position on Feb 17th, 2023. I then added to it on April 3rd and May 25th. The total holdings in the stock summed up to around 2.5% of the capital, and I held the stock for over 6 months.
Technically, I am expecting a reversal move and have therefore decided to book the profit. I don't have much insight into the potential of the aluminum sector going forward as of now. Hence, I don't think it's a wise idea to hold onto the stock at this technical level, given my limited awareness of the fundamentals. The total amount invested in the stock was also high according to my trade plan.
I have booked a profit of 11.20%, which is a satisfactory return for holding the stock for 6 months.
I will delve deeper into the fundamentals of the sector as well as the stock and will consider re-entry at cheaper valuations if the opportunity presents itself.
