Typically breakout trades from a range need some type of event or fuel to the fire. A failed opposing move can be a good setup to break out the range. If this was a bullish fail swing pattern, meaning it swept the $231 low but ultimately closed above, I would have higher conviction. But todays volume and strength relative to a flat tech day did help me get into the trade.הערה
QQQ down nearly 2%. Got out of these put options for a 16% loss at open.הערה

Should have exercised a bit more of patience. My bearish bias of tech stocks in general prevented me from being profitable on this trade idea:
