When you make time to form a weekly (big picture) outlook or plan, your swing trade ideas will be stronger. It is common knowledge that swing trading is generally more profitable than day trading, with lower risk. I originally created my SPY, SPX plan on 19 October and have used it until now. Along the way, I watched for signs to support or negate my outlook. One must be open to change, to being wrong.
Weekly planning will help you form stronger ideas with more confidence. If the outlook is unclear for you, that is also important to know. Sometimes more caution is needed because direction becomes less certain. Solution is to describe both outlooks and over time one will become correct.
Now it is time to update the plan for what may happen next.
