SPY clawing to stay in bull channel

Nice reversal back into the channel here today. Could mean a short term really. But as this sideways drift goes on longer and longer, I can't help but feel like the rallies are shorter/weaker and this bull channel will break. The question then will be will that trigger a major correction, or will the sideways drift continue (green channel) and be the new channel to watch?
