SPY - Looking for direction
Today the SPY opened at 389.82. So far today, it has traded as high as 390.07 and as low as 386.
Bollinger Bands
Looking at the Bollinger Bands for SPY, you can see that SPY is barely in the upper channel which is considered to be a bullish sign.
Stochastic
This indicator is showing blue line is over the red, showing a bullish trend. The Stoch shows SPY to be coming out of an over sold status, too.
MACD
But when you look at the MACD indicator below, you can see that the red is over the blue. This is can is indicative of an overall bearish towards SPY by the market.
