Gold- still in an uptrend, but...

Since the beginning of October, Gold is rising and it has gained, from the bottom to the top, around 1000 pips.
However, this rise is contained in a channel and lacks impulse.
At the time of writing the price is 1788, exactly above the confluence support
A break here would confirm that the October rise is just a correction and open the door for a new visit to 1720 support
