BANKNIFTY
Indian NIFTY Correlation Daytrade/Swing StrategyINTRODUCTION :
This is a daytrading/swing strategy designed mainly for indian market where internally has been adapted to NIFTY market and as well using for internal calculations the values of the candles from NIFTY asset.
With it we search to use with the most correlated asset from the indian market.
For this example I choosed BANKNIFTY
STRATEGY:
The strategy initially uses as candle values the data from the NIFTY asset.
With them I am dividing the work into two calculation parts such as :
-For first part logic, I am doing calculations regarding the volatility of NIFTY, where I initially take into consideration INDIAVIX to have an idea of the expected implied volatility of NIFTY asset and then I compare it with different tools such as ATR, BB and Percentile location of the volatility.
Based on all these factors I take into account the location of the volatility which is atm and if there is a possibility of a strong movement(trend) or sidemarket situation.
-Once I am done with the values of the volatility, the next process in the script logic is to start looking into the trend.
For it I am using different tools such as volume checker, support and resistence key points, pivot points, price actions patterns and different moving averages.
-Risk management part : once we are done with calculation for the entry, the next part is to have an idea where to exit. In this case I am making use of a dynamic risk management which is compressed from multiple ideas such as : we can exit if there were a big gap on the next day in our initial direction, we can also exit based of an internal daily ATR calculation value(we use initially 15min timeframe chart) and lastly if we are around some key points like support/resistence or other different chart patterns like double top, double bot and so on.
CASE EXAMPLE:
As I said before we are initially using for calculation the NIFTY chart with 15min timeframe. With it we can apply to any indian etf, stocks, future. All the assets are going to have the same time of entry and the same time of exit(we get this from NIFTY) and we plot it on the chart we are using, so its key point to look for assets which have a min 75-80% correlation with NIFTY. For this example I used BANKNIFTY chart.
So a type of entry would be this way
Lets assume NIFTY50 is on 19.000 level
INDIAVIX level is currently at 11 which can be translated : 11 / sqrt(250)
So 11 means that on a yearly base we expect the asset to move 11% upwards or downwards
and in a year we have aprox 250 days. So we divide the 11 by sqrt of 250 to get an idea of a daily expected move from the implied volatility of india VIX
11/15.87 = +-0.69%
So INDIAVIX tells us that the values for today nifty is 19000+0,69% and 19000-0.69%
After that I am looking into the daily ATR, and I see that the expected is around 0.8% and is ascending over the last 2 weeks.
Lastly I am looking at the percentile which is currently the volatility on both ATR and INDIAVIX, and I get a value of 90th percentile.
With this my biased is that we are going to expect a short trend, but i cant confirm on the volatility alone so next step is start looking into technical analysis.
I look at volume and is increasing, I look at different price actions paterns and pivots and I see a lower low and a lower high (a descending pattern).
I also see the price is below the key MA like SMA50/100/200, VWAP and so on.
With all of this I get more confirmation that the asset is in a short trend.
Internally once a certain specific % of confirmation from all the logics is achieved, it will trigger a long/short entry, so in this case lets assume we have 80% of our indicators pointing to the short, is going to enter a short.
Now for a long scenario the scene would be , indiavix is around 9,5, ATR is descending. We are around 40th percentile of the volatility.
Our asset is above multiple moving averages, vwap , etc
We have an increasing volume towards bullish side.
And so on( overall 75% of our indicators are pointing towards the long side)
Now for the exit, since we are dealing with a daytrade/swing mentality, short on average we keep the trade open for a less period of time than long ( 19 bars of 15min candles, compared to 57 bars of 15min for long) , so most of the times for short we are going to exit next day and if the trend is still in our favour we re enter the trade.
For long we can stay much more time, sometimes even weeks and we exit mainly when the % of confirmation of indicators point out a reversal/short confirmation fo a big pice action pattern.
STRATEGY RESULTS
For strategy analysis I have used BANKNIFTY NSE with deep history to get access to data from 2011 until present( giving more than 2500 trades) .
For inputs I am using 0.02% comission total ( the comission applied from ZERODHA indian exchange is close to 0.0175% total) so I used it a bit higher in order to take into account some slippages.
For capital THE REASON I USED 100% of the capital allocation is to make a proper comparison with the buy an hold from the same period
Lets assume we had an account of 1M ruppes initially in 2011, we start using 100% of it and then the new values automatically compounded with the new profits and losses so directly compare with 1M of rupees in shares on BANKNIFTY ETFs bought in 2011(buy n hold) until present day.

FRAMA & CPMA Strategy [CSM]The script is an advanced technical analysis tool specifically designed for trading in financial markets, with a particular focus on the BankNifty market. It utilizes two powerful indicators: the Fractal Adaptive Moving Average (FRAMA) and the CPMA (Conceptive Price Moving Average), which is similar to the well-known Chande Momentum Oscillator (CMO) with Center of Gravity (COG) bands.
The FRAMA is a dynamic moving average that adapts to changing market conditions, providing traders with a more precise representation of price movements. The CMO is an oscillator that measures momentum in the market, helping traders identify potential entry and exit points. The COG bands are a technical indicator used to identify potential support and resistance levels in the market.
Custom functions are included in the script to calculate the FRAMA and CSM_CPMA indicators, with the FRAMA function calculating the value of the FRAMA indicator based on user-specified parameters of length and multiplier, while the CSM_CPMA function calculates the value of the CMO with COG bands indicator based on the user-specified parameters of length and various price types.
The script also includes trailing profit and stop loss functions, which while not meeting expectations, have been backtested with a success rate of over 90%, making the script a valuable tool for traders.
Overall, the script provides traders with a comprehensive technical analysis tool for analyzing cryptocurrency markets and making informed trading decisions. Traders can improve their success rate and overall profitability by using smaller targets with trailing profit and minimizing losses. Feedback is always welcome, and the script can be improved for future use. Special thanks go to Tradingview for providing inbuilt functions that are utilized in the script.
Strategy: Range BreakoutWhat?
In the price action, levels have a significant role to play. Based on the price moving above/below the levels - the underlying instrument shows some price-action in the direction of breakout/breakdown.
There are plenty of ways level can be determined. Levels are the decision point to take a trade or not. But if we make the level derivation complex, then the execution may get hamper.
This strategy script, developed in PineScript v5, is our attempt at solving this problem at the core by providing this simple, yet elegant solution to this problem.
It's essentially an attempt to Trade Simple by drawing logical (horizontal) lines in the chart and take actions, after multiple associated parameters confirmation, on the breakout / breakdown of the levels.
How?
Let us explain how we are drawing the levels.
We are depending on some of the parameters as described below:
Open Range : During intraday movement, often if prices move beyond a particular level, it exibits more movement in the same swing in same direction. We found out, through our back testing for Indian Indices like NSE:NIFTY , NSE:BANKNIFTY or NSE:CNXFINANCE the first 15m (i.e 09:15 AM to 09:30 AM, IST) is one of such range. For Indian stocks, it is 9:15 to 9:45. And for MCX MCX:CRUDEOIL1! it's 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm. There are our first levels.
PDHCL : Previous Day High, Close, Low. This is our next level
VWAP : The rolling VWAP (volume weighted average price)
In the breakout/breakdown of the Open Range and Previous Day High/Low, we are taking the trade decisions as follows using CEST principle:
C onditions :
If current bar's (say you are in 5m timeframe) closing is broken out the Open Range High or Previous Day High, taken a Buy/Long decision (let's say buying a Call Option CE or selling a Put Option PE or buying the future or cash).
If current bar's (say you are in 5m timeframe) closing is broken down the Open Range Low or Previous Day Low, taken a Sell/Short decision (let's say buying a Put Option CE or selling a Call Option PE or selling the future or cash).
Additionally, and optionally (default ON, one can turn off): we are checking various other associated multiple confirmations as follows:
1. Momentum : Checking 14-period RSI value is more than 50 or less than 50 (all parameters like period, OB, OS ranges are configurable through settings)
2. Current bar's volume is more than the last 20 bars volume average. How much more - that multiplier is also configurable. (default is 1)
3. The breakout candle is bullish (green) or bearish (red).
E ntry :
All of these happens only on the closing of the candle . Means: Non Repainting! .
Clearly in the chart we are showing as green up arrow BO (breakout for buy) and red down arrow BD (breakdown for sell) to take your decision process smooth.
So, on the closing of the decision BO/BD candle we are entering the trade (with a thumping heart and nail biting ...)
S top Loss :
We are relying on the time tasted (last 40 years) mechanism of Average True Range (ATR) of default 14 period. This default period is also configurable.
So for Long trades: the 14 period ATR low band is the SL.
For Short trades: the 14 period ATR high band is the SL.
T arget :
We are depending on the thump rule of 1:2 Risk Reward. It's simple and effective. No fancy thing. We are closing the trade on double the favorable price movement compared to the SL placed. Of course, this RR ratio is confiurable from the settings, as usual.
What's Unqiue in it?
The utter simplicity of this trading mechanism. No fancy things like complex chart pattern, OI data, multiple candlestick patterns, Order flow analysis etc.
Simple level determination,
Marking clearly in the chart.
Making each parameter configurable in Settings and showing tooltip adjacent to the parameter to make you understand it better for your customization,
Wait for the candle close, thus eliminating the chances of repainting menace (as much as possible)
Additional momentum and volume check to trade entry confirmation.
Works with normal candlestick (nothing special ones like HA ...)
Showing everything as a Summary Table (which, again can be turned off optionally) overlaying at the bottom-right corner of the chart,
Optionally the Summary Table can be configured to alert you back (say you get it notified in your email or SMS).
That way, a single, simple, effective trade setup will ease your journey as smooth sail as possible.

APIBridge Nifty Options Algo StrategyUsing Pinescript, we will use charts of Cash/Future to trade in Options. Note this strategy works well with even the free version of TradingView.
The Relative Strength Index ( RSI ). Is a momentum oscillator that measures the speed and change of price movements. The RSI oscillates between zero and 100. Increasing RSI shows increasing bullish momentum. Decreasing RSI shows increasing bearish momentum. We take RSI upper bound as 80 to indicate bullish momentum and RSI lower bound as 20 to indicate bearish momentum.
We use the above premise to create options buy-only strategy which trades in ATM strikes by default. This strategy requires very less margin (Minimum Rs . 15000).
Since this strategy uses underlying data (cash/future) to place trades in Options, please ignore the backtest of this strategy given by TradingView. TradingView does not provide options data but this strategy bypasses it.

IPB_JPMUPS_2022Introduction :
This indicator serves two purposes
a) It is a multi dimensional floor pivot indicator, which takes its concepts from Secrets of Pivot Boss book of Frank Ochoa. Most of the indicators suggested in the book are packed in one indicator.
b) It also has an inbuilt intraday strategy which identifies trend, direction and momentum based on CPR (Central Pivot Range) concepts and accordingly comes up with trading signals.
How this indicator is different from the published ones :
A). Role as an indicator
This indicator has all the CPR (Central Pivot Range) indicators packed together which provides a ready made solution for CPR based trading. The following are the salient features of this indicator :
1) This indicator plots daily CPR using previous day high, low and close. It also plots Support and Resistance levels based on floor pivots formula.
Moreover, it also plots developing CPR which is based on current day's high, low and close. Apart from that it also plots CPR for next day session as well which is useful for EOD analysis.
2) This indicator plots weekly CPR using previous week high, low and close. It also plots developing CPR which is based on current week's high, low and close.
3) This indicator plots monthly CPR using previous month high, low and close. It also plots developing CPR which is based on current month's high, low and close.
4) This indicator plots pivot EMA which is called PEMA. It uses three different EMAs which are customisable and uses them to plot a moving average web based on pivot points of each candle, which is called as PEMA. This also facilitates PEMA plotting for higher time frame (daily time frame) as well.
5) This indicator plots daily time frame moving average in intraday chart which can be used as a key zone during trading. The period is customisable.
B) Role as a strategy
This indicator also functions as an intraday trading strategy called JPMUPS (JP stands for author's nickname. MUPS stands for Manoj Ultimate Pivot Strategy). This strategy attempts to identify trend, direction and momentum and when all these three align together it gives buy and sell signals. The concepts are as under:
Trend identification :
Whenever a trend is established, the developing CPR starts to widen. Hence this strategy uses the width of the developing CPR and compares it with the MA of the width to identify the trend. If the width of the developing CPR crosses the 34 period MA (can be customised), it assumes a trend is developing.
Direction identification:
Whenever a direction is established, the CPR components, namely BC and TC shifts its position. Hence this strategy uses this concept to identify the direction. It computes MACD sort of histogram of the BC and TC difference and whenever the histogram slops upwards, it assumes bullish direction and vice versa.
Momentum identification :
Whenever momentum is established, the developing CPR starts sloping upwards. Hence this strategy uses this concept to identify the momentum. It computes RSI of the developing CPR and if the RSI is above the 34 period MA (can be customised) of RSI , it assumes momentum is establishing and vice versa.
When all the above are aligned together, it gives buy or sell signals suitably.
How to use it :
a) Indicator usage :
1) CPR zones are key zones which predominantly acts as support and resistance zones. Looking at the price action at these zones, one can look for trading opportunities in live market.
2) Developing CPR acts as pull back zones and is very useful in live trading and also EOD analysis for spotting opportunities by combining price action.
b) Strategy usage :
1). Strategy signals are only indicative. Users are strongly advised not to use the strategy blindly. Users are advised to go though the CPR concepts thoroughly and use this strategy signals only as a supplement for further decision making / analysis.
Markets meant for :
1). This indicator and Strategy is predominantly designed for I ndian stock markets . However it can be customised for other markets as well by changing the timings of the markets in the parameters.
Market conditions meant for :
1). This indicator is meant for all types of market conditions as its predominant role is to plot the key support and resistance zones using CPR concepts.
2). The strategy is mainly found to be effective in trending markets and predominantly indices like Nifty and Bank Nifty . Hence Users are advised to use this only as an indicative feature and not blindly trade based on signals. The strategy is found to be less effective in lower time frames like 1min / 3min, etc. 15 min time frame provides fair performance. However it doesnt mean that it will continue to perform in the same manner in the future.

TEWY - Magic Strength Indicator (SI) ScreenerDetail about this indicator
This is screener to identify outperforming Stocks/Ticker based on the indicator "TEWY - Magic Strength Indicator (SI)" I deployed earlier. So please checkout that indicator description to understand more about this screener logic.
Below are the parameters that you may need to use to get outperforming indices/tickers.
1. Screener Set Name :
• Here you can see few of the predefined Index/Ticker sets i created, which you can use to screen Index/Ticker.
• If you select Set for 'Indices' you will get the list of Indices which are out performing NSE:NIFTY. Once you know which index is outperforming, then select the Set for that Index which I already given in the dropdown. That you will get the list of outperforming stock under that index.
• If you want to see all scripts of selected Sector Index that are outperforming NIFTY and may or may not be be outperforming Sector index, then please uncheck the box for "Outperforming Child Index Also". This will get you all the list of Stocks/Tickers which are outperforming Main Index NIFTY.
• If you want to see out-performers for specific period of time then change "How Many Outperforming Candles/Bars" as per your choice
• If you want to see under performers for Short trades then select "Find Short Trades" checkbox
• If you want to see the scripts which are just changed there signal then select "Latest Only" checkbox
Always respect RISKS and follow stop loss. In market stop loss is the only friend of yours.
I have given a sample illustrational image below, which should help you understand this indicator.
Best of luck
Nifty's IndicatorThis Indicator is only for Indian market and works only on 'Nifty' and 'Banknifty'. Please don't use it in any other stock/indices.
Use it in only in 3m and 1m timeframe. No other timeframe is to be used.
This indicator gives only sell signals on intraday basis.
When you apply this indicator on charts then you will see 2 things ploted there.
1. Barcolor
2. Background color
Barcolor :
We have use unique trend analysing tool in this indicator, which identifies price is in Uptrend or Downtrend. If price is in uptrend
then candle color will become GREEN and it will remain green until price comes in downtrend. In downtrend candle color becomes RED.
Background color :
We have observed that price behaves a certain way when it is in downtrend. So we try to catch that behaviour of Nifty and Banknifty .
And when ever we observe that behaviour, a red color background is formed in background. This red color background indicates user that
price may fall now.
HOW TO USE :
ENTRY => You should trade only on 3m timeframe. When you see a RED COLOR candle inside RED ZONE then take a SELL trade. That means red background
is indicating that price may fall and red color bar also indicating the same. And your entry should be in between 09:15-10:30 and 12:30-14:55.
This is the time slot when price is volatile.
EXIT => You exit when red zone ends or the trading day ends.
BACKTESTING :
Based on these entry and exit conditions , we have backtested this strategy ( taking only 1 share when sell signal comes ). You can see down arrow on
chart when sell signals comes and uparrow when we exit from trade.
Donchian Channel StrategyRide the trend with full potential. Filter out false signals using long period ema. Lower bands take care of the stop loss.
Use this strategy for banknifty futures for consistent quarterly returns.
IPB_CamBOTSThis is an intraday strategy.
Camarilla Level 3 breakout strategy.
Conditions are long above Camarilla R3 only under certain circumstances related to the distance between Central Pivot and Level 3 pivots and also the location of the Opening price of the day.
Exit is assumed to be at the end of the day. It is suggested to exit the trade if price falls back below Camarilla R3 in case of longs.
Logic similar for shorts as well but on the other end.
Position Sizing :
10 lots of Nifty futures assumed for backtesting.
The margin required for 10 lots of Nifty futures is around 10-12 lacs. Hence 25,00,000 capital is assumed which is roughly double the margin required for taking positions in the real market. In other words not all capital is used if 10 lots of futures is traded. Brokerage assumed is 50 per order as against the 20 per order in real market with respect to retail brokers. Currency assumed is INR. However there is no option to choose INR and therefore you might see the currency as USD. Hence please assume the currency as INR.

Zeta Bank Nifty & Nifty50The Problems of Day Trading
Lot many indicators are made by thousands of traders all over the world, which give good or not so good signals.
Despite good signals, many times we end up in loss because we could not take entry or could not exit at appropriate time-point.
Sometimes even winning position also comes into loss if market takes back whatever you gained till a certain point.
Also, there are professional, office going people who can not take trades on their own during office-hours.
To solve all these problems, you need an automated strategy which could take trades, trail your stop loss up and exit when stop loss gets hit.
Strategy also lets you know how a certain formula performed over a period of time.
How this strategy works?
The strategy generates trades with 02 type of formulas:
1. It seeks price breaking away from support/resistance (up or down) which is calculated with the help of automatically detected pivot points.
2. It seeks reversal based upon RSI and Price Action.
If there are no open positions right now and a Buy/Sell signal comes, 1 lot is bought or sold.
This position is closed when either Stop Loss gets hit or when opposite signal comes.
What are other features of the strategy
1. You can set the session time when you want the strategy to take trades. For example, if you want to take trades only between 10:00 hrs and 14:00 hrs, that can be set in settings.
2. You can set up your own Stop Loss percentage, but the optimum value, as we found fit in backtesting, is set at 0.5%
3. There is a max. daily loss safeguard also which by default is set at 5%. It means if a series of losses happen during the day and your capital loss reaches this maximum loss value set by you, the strategy stops trading for that day.
4. There is an option to close all positions by End of Day. By default, this feature is disabled, but you can enable it if you don't want to carry forward your positions.
5. A label displayed at the last bar gives you cumulative profit or loss and daily profit/loss statistics.
IPB_AOPM_BOThis is an intraday trading strategy.
Concept :
Underlying concept is that Amateurs open the market and Professionals close the market. Hence this system tries to capture the breakout in the afternoon session. After One PM Breakout (AOPM breakout). This essentially means that one has to go long once the high of the market till 1 pm is broken out and similarly go short once the low of the market till 1 pm is broken down.
Position sizing:
This strategy assumes taking 10 lots of Indian Market Index which approximately requires a margin of around INR 25,00,000. Hence capital is chosen as INR 25,00,000. Currency is assumed to be INR , however the system shows USD as currency as there is no INR option available. Commissions assumed to be at INR 50 per order as against the INR 20 per charged by retail brokers in India in real world market.
Disclaimer:
Past performance is not representative of future performance. Hence the author is not responsible for any trading loss arising out of implementing this strategy. Hence please implement at your own risk. Trading can result in loss of entire capital.
IndianPivotBoss_TCAPConcept :
This strategy aims to capture the trend. It is deemed that a possible trend emerges when price goes past a pre-determined boundary. The predetermined boundary is a function of previous day close, average daily range and a standard normal distribution Z score.
Conditions :
Buy when price crosses the upper boundary.
Exit when price falls below the upper boundary or at close of the day.
Short when price crosses down the lower boundary.
Exit when price moves above the lower boundary or at close of the day.
Position Size :
A capital of 125,000 is selected. (Margin for 1 lot of Bank Nifty Futures is Indian Rupees 125,000). Please assume the currency as Indian Rupees instead of USD as there is no option to select Indian Rupees as Currency.
In real market, the margin required for 1 lot of Bank Nifty futures trading is around INR 125,000 which is why initial capital of INR 125,000 is chosen.
1 lot trade is considered. No compounding is assumed as evident from the results where all trades are of 1 lot only.
Commission of 0.05% (approx Rs 312.5, if the index is 25000) is used, which is very conservative compared to the usual commission of Rs 20 per order charged by leading retail brokers in India.

NIKI MSS BANKNIFTYThis is the strategy version of my old indicator NIKI BANKIFTY. It is more suitable for day trading with a 5 min chart. It is more profitable in BANKNIFTY future. It is based on multiple Supertrend, moving average, Donchain channel, and linear regression. The background color indicates the main trend and the color of the candle represents a short-term trend. The label with TA and SL represents more profitable entry positions. The label RE: LE and RE: SE stands for re-entry positions or signals with less accuracy. Consider the direction of the linear regression line to take trades on re-entry positions. The yellow candle indicates the entry and the blue candle represents the target or stop-loss.
The backtest results are based on BANKNIFTY last year's data. It has an initial capital of 100000 and the size of the lot is 1. The target is 0.3% and stop-loss is 1.5%. It exactly not following the stop loss, the trade will exit based on the Donchain channel breakout. It appears on the chart as a blue candle. The commission paid is 20 cash per trade and the slippage is 5 ticks per trade. Some of the Indian broker's commission is only 10 cash per trade. Adjust the commission as per your broker. Trades are conducted based on the intraday time in India set from 9.20 am to 2.25 pm. All positions will get square off at 3.00 pm. It will execute a maximum of 4 trades per day. All other parameters are suitable for Robo trading with Indian stock brokers.

IndianPivotBoss_DRPCROSS_V2This strategy is an intraday strategy based on Developing pivot cross.
Long is generated when price crosses above developing pivot.
Short is generated when price crosses down developing pivot.
It also looks into developing pivot width for an expansion before taking into consideration of the above signals thereby providing signals only when a possibility of a trend emerges.
Pls note that past performance is not indicative of future performance.
Hence use it at your own risk. There is no guarantee for profits and there is always a possibility of losing entire capital in trading.
