Brazilian Federal Judge Orders Temporary Blocking of Telegram

A federal judge in Brazil has ordered a temporary block on Telegram for failing to provide information about pro-Nazi groups requested by federal police. Local ISPs (Internet Service Providers) have complied with orders to limit access to Telegram, and Google and Apple have also been ordered to block Telegram. The judge also increased Telegram's fine for not complying with the order from 100,000 reais to 1 million reais (about 1.37 million yuan) per day. Telegram has yet to comment.
