Combining Art with Science a new way to enhance moving averages is by extending portions of them with trend lines fitted to mostly straight areas of moving averages that normally curve and oscillate with price movements. Further pushing this concept could be the use of linear regression lines drawn on moving averages to extrapolate extended trendlines.
