Fifteen year intervals are dominant with respect to EUR/USD highs and lows. The highs in 1980 and 1995 separate by 15 years as do the lows in 1985, 2000, and 2015. The outlier is the 2008 high. A more detailed view reveals that the 1980 and 1995 highs separate by 182 months and that the 1985 and 2000 lows separate by 188 months. The 2000 and March 2015 lows separate by just 173 months but the secondary low in December 2015 (USD Index high) is 182 months from the 2000 low. This month (June 2016) is 188 months from the 2000 low.
