ixigo Partners with OSRTC to Expand Bus Coverage in Odisha

Le Travenues Technology Limited, known as ixigo, has announced a partnership between AbhiBus (ixigo Group) and the Odisha State Road Transport Corporation (OSRTC) to expand state transport bus coverage in Odisha.

The collaboration aims to provide millions of passengers in Odisha with easier access to reliable government bus services through AbhiBus' digital platform. OSRTC connects over 130 cities, towns, and business centers within Odisha and 68 cities outside the state, operating 4,800 daily services with 577 intercity and interstate buses. Its Mukhyamantri Bus Seva (MBS) connects 6,720+ Gram Panchayats through 1,422 rural buses.

Through this partnership, OSRTC services will be available on the AbhiBus platform, offering digital bookings, real-time bus tracking, secure payments, and access to a range of routes and bus categories.

Rohit Sharma, COO of AbhiBus, stated that the partnership aims to make government bus services more accessible and convenient for travelers, enabling seamless booking of bus routes like Bhubaneswar-Puri, Cuttack, Berhampur, Rourkela, and Sambalpur, as well as interstate routes to Kolkata, Visakhapatnam, and Raipur.

With the addition of OSRTC, AbhiBus now aggregates 17 major State Road Transport Corporations (SRTCs), offering affordable and reliable travel options across the country.
