More than 35,000 job cuts in Germany are part of the solution to address overcapacity at Volkswagen 
VOW plants, union IG Metall's lead negotiator Thorsten Groeger said at a news conference after record-long wage talks.
The job cuts would be done in a socially responsible manner, he added.
