BTC Coinbase Perps Premium

Coinbase dominance relative to the top perpetual swap contracts.

It compares the price of the Coinbase BTC /USD market to a volume weighted index of perps.

Positive values means Coinbase is trading at a premium, which is considered bullish.
Negative values means Coinbase is trading at a discount, which is considered bearish.

Coinbase is a pretty important exchange that used to be the retail exchange of choice, but is known since 2020 for institutional orderflow.
Because of that it's a pretty good sign when Coinbase has a premium compared to derivatives markets.

It's ideal for low time frame scalping and higher time frame swing trading.
