Core logic

The script calculates a standard MACD (MACD line, signal line, histogram) and a DMI/ADX trend filter. MACD crossovers are only considered valid when ADX exceeds the defined threshold.

Key principles:

* MACD measures momentum via EMA spreads and a signal EMA
* bullish crossover occurs when MACD line crosses above the signal line
* bearish crossover occurs when MACD line crosses below the signal line
* ADX measures trend strength independent of direction
* signals are filtered to only trigger when ADX indicates a trending regime
* histogram coloring reflects momentum direction and whether the trend filter is active

This approach prioritizes higher-quality momentum signals during trend phases and de-emphasizes signals in sideways conditions.
