ICT Immediate Rebalance Toolkit [LuxAlgo]The ICT Immediate Rebalance Toolkit is a comprehensive suite of tools crafted to aid traders in pinpointing crucial trading zones and patterns within the market.
The ICT Immediate Rebalance, although frequently overlooked, emerges as one of ICT's most influential concepts, particularly when considered within a specific context. The toolkit integrates commonly used price action tools to be utilized in conjunction with the Immediate Rebalance patterns, enriching the capacity to discern context for improved trading decisions.
The ICT Immediate Rebalance Toolkit encompasses the following Price Action components:
ICT Immediate Rebalance
Buyside/Sellside Liquidity
Order Blocks & Breaker Blocks
Liquidity Voids
ICT Macros
🔶 USAGE
🔹 ICT Immediate Rebalance
What is an Immediate Rebalance?
Immediate rebalances, a concept taught by ICT, hold significant importance in decision-making. To comprehend the concept of immediate rebalance, it's essential to grasp the notion of the fair value gap. A fair value gap arises from market inefficiencies or imbalances, whereas an immediate rebalance leaves no gap, no inefficiencies, or no imbalances that the price would need to return to.
Rule of Thumb
After an immediate rebalance, the expectation is for two extension candles to follow; otherwise, the immediate rebalance is considered failed. It's important to highlight that both failed and successful immediate rebalances, when considered within a context, are significant signatures in trading.
Immediate rebalances can occur anywhere and in any timeframe.
🔹 Buyside/Sellside Liquidity
In the context of Inner Circle Trader's teachings, liquidity primarily refers to the presence of stop losses or pending orders, that indicate concentrations of buy or sell orders at specific price levels. Institutional traders, like banks and large financial entities, frequently aim for these liquidity levels or pools to accumulate or distribute their positions.
Buyside liquidity denotes a chart level where short sellers typically position their stops, while Sellside liquidity indicates a level where long-biased traders usually place their stops. These zones often serve as support or resistance levels, presenting potential trading opportunities.
The presentation applied here is the multi-timeframe version of our previously published Buyside-Sellside-Liquidity script.
🔹 Order Blocks & Breaker Blocks
Order Blocks and Breaker Blocks hold significant importance in technical analysis and play a crucial role in shaping market behavior.
Order blocks are fundamental elements of price action analysis used by traders to identify key levels in the market where significant buying or selling activity has occurred. These blocks represent areas on a price chart where institutional traders, banks, or large market participants have placed substantial buy or sell orders, leading to a temporary imbalance in supply and demand.
Breaker blocks, also known as liquidity clusters or pools, complement order blocks by identifying zones where liquidity is concentrated on the price chart. These areas, formed from mitigated order blocks, often act as significant barriers to price movement, potentially leading to price stalls or reversals in the future.
🔹 Liquidity Voids
Liquidity voids are sudden price changes when the price jumps from one level to another. Liquidity voids will appear as a single or a group of candles that are all positioned in the same direction. These candles typically have large real bodies and very short wicks, suggesting very little disagreement between buyers and sellers.
Here is our previously released Liquidity-Voids script.
🔹 ICT Macros
In the context of ICT's teachings, a macro is a small program or set of instructions that unfolds within an algorithm, which influences price movements in the market. These macros operate at specific times and can be related to price runs from one level to another or certain market behaviors during specific time intervals. They help traders anticipate market movements and potential setups during specific time intervals.
Here is our previously released ICT-Macros script.

ICT Sessions and Kill Zones
What They Are:
ICT Sessions: These are specific times during the trading day when market activity is expected to be higher, such as the London Open, New York Open, and the Asian session.
Kill Zones: These are specific time windows within these sessions where the probability of significant price movements is higher. For example, the New York AM Kill Zone is typically from 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM EST.
How to Use Them:
Identify the Session: Determine which trading session you are in (London, New York, or Asian).
Focus on Kill Zones: Within that session, focus on the kill zones for potential trade setups. For instance, during the New York session, look for setups between 8:30 AM and 11:00 AM EST.
Silver Bullets
What They Are:
Silver Bullets: These are specific, high-probability trade setups that occur within the kill zones. They are designed to be "one shot, one kill" trades, meaning they aim for precise and effective entries and exits.
How to Use Them:
Time-Based Setup: Look for these setups within the designated kill zones. For example, between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM for the New York AM session .
Chart Analysis: Start with higher time frames like the 15-minute chart and then refine down to 5-minute and 1-minute charts to identify imbalances or specific patterns .
Macros
What They Are:
Macros: These are broader market conditions and trends that influence your trading decisions. They include understanding the overall market direction, seasonal tendencies, and the Commitment of Traders (COT) reports.
How to Use Them:
Understand Market Conditions: Be aware of the macroeconomic factors and market conditions that could affect price movements.
Seasonal Tendencies: Know the seasonal patterns that might influence the market direction.
COT Reports: Use the Commitment of Traders reports to understand the positioning of large traders and commercial hedgers .
Putting It All Together
Preparation: Understand the macro conditions and review the COT reports.
Session and Kill Zone: Identify the trading session and focus on the kill zones.
Silver Bullet Setup: Look for high-probability setups within the kill zones using refined chart analysis.
Execution: Execute the trade with precision, aiming for a "one shot, one kill" outcome.
By following these steps, you can effectively use ICT sessions, kill zones, silver bullets, and macros to enhance your trading strategy.

ICT Silver Bullet with signals
The "ICT Silver Bullet with signals" indicator (inspired from the lectures of "The Inner Circle Trader" (ICT)),
goes a step further than the ICT Silver Bullet publication, which I made for LuxAlgo :
• uses HTF candles
• instant drawing of Support & Resistance (S/R) lines when price retraces into FVG
• NWOG - NDOG S/R lines
• signals
The Silver Bullet (SB) window which is a specific 1-hour interval where a Fair Value Gap (FVG) pattern can be formed.
When price goes back to the FVG, without breaking it, Support & Resistance lines will be drawn immediately.
There are 3 different Silver Bullet windows (New York local time):
The London Open Silver Bullet (03 AM — 04 AM ~ 03:00 — 04:00)
The AM Session Silver Bullet (10 AM — 11 AM ~ 10:00 — 11:00)
The PM Session Silver Bullet (02 PM — 03 PM ~ 14:00 — 15:00)
🔶 USAGE
This technique can visualise potential support/resistance lines, which can be used as targets.
The script contains 2 main components:
• forming of a Fair Value Gap (FVG)
• drawing support/resistance (S/R) lines
🔹 Forming of FVG
When HTF candles forms an FVG, the FVG will be drawn at the end (close) of the last HTF candle.
To make it easier to visualise the 2 HTF candles that form the FVG, you can enable
• SHOW -> HTF candles
During the SB session, when a FVG is broken, the FVG will be removed, together with its S/R lines.
The same goes if price did not retrace into FVG at the last bar of the SB session
Only exception is when "Remove broken FVG's" is disabled.
In this case a FVG can be broken, as long as price bounces back before the end of the SB session, it will remain to be visible:
🔹 Drawing support/resistance lines
S/R target lines are drawn immediately when price retraces into the FVG.
They will remain updated until they are broken (target hit)
Potential S/R lines are formed by:
• previous swings (swing settings (left-right)
• New Week Opening Gap (NWOG): close on Friday - weekly open
• New Day Opening Gap (NWOG): close previous day - current daily open
Only non-broken lines are included.
Broken =
• minimum of open and close below potential S/R line
• maximum of open and close above potential S/R line
NDOG lines are coloured fuchsia (as in the ICT lectures), NWOG are coloured white (darkmode) or black (lightmode ~ ICT lectures)
Swing line colour can be set as desired.
Here S/R includes NDOG lines:
The same situation, with "Extend Target-lines to their source" enabled:
Here with NWOG lines:
This publication contains a "Minimum Trade Framework (mTFW)", which represents the best-case expected price delivery, this is not your actual trade entry - exit range.
• 40 ticks for index futures or indices
• 15 pips for Forex pairs
The minimum distance (if applicable) can be shown by enabling "Show" - "Minimum Trade Framework" -> blue arrow from close to mTFW
Potential S/R lines needs to be higher (bullish) or lower (bearish) than mTFW.
🔶 SETTINGS
(check USAGE for deeper insights and explanation)
🔹 Only last x bars: when enabled, the script will do most of the calculations at these last x candles, potentially this can speeds calculations.
🔹 Swing settings (left-right): Sets the length, which will set the lookback period/sensitivity of the ZigZag patterns (which directs the trend and points for S/R lines)
🔹 FVG
HTF (minutes): 1-15 minutes.
• When the chart TF is equal of higher, calculations are based on current TF.
• Chart TF > 15 minutes will give the warning: "Please use a timeframe <= 15 minutes".
Remove broken FVG's: when enabled the script will remove FVG (+ associated S/R lines) immediately when FVG is broken at opposite direction.
FVG's still will be automatically removed at the end of the SB session, when there is no retrace, together with associated S/R lines,...
~ trend: Only include FVG in the same direction as the current trend
Note -> when set 'right' (swing setting) rather high ( > 3), he trend change will be delayed as well (default 'right' max 5)
Extend: extend FVG to max right side of SB session
🔹 Targets – support/resistance
Extend Target-lines to their source: extend lines to their origin
Colours (Swing S/R lines)
🔹 Show
SB session: show lines and labels of SB session (+ colour)
• Labels can be disabled separately in the 'Style' section, colour is set at the 'Inputs' section
Trend : Show trend (ZigZag, coloured ~ trend)
HTF candles: Show the 2 HTF candles that form the FVG
Minimum Trade Framework: blue arrow (if applicable)
🔶 ALERTS
There are 4 signals provided (bullish/bearish):
FVG Formed
FVG Retrace
Target reached
FVG cancelled
You can choose between dynamic alerts - only 1 alert needs to be set for all signals, or you can set specific alerts as desired.
💜 PURPLE BARS 😈
• Since TradingView has chosen to give away our precious Purple coloured Wizard Badge, bars are coloured purple 😊😉
ICT Market Structure and OTE ZoneThis indicator is based on the ICT (Inner Circle Trader) concepts, and it helps identify daily market structure and the optimal trade entry (OTE) zone based on Fibonacci retracement levels.
To read and interpret this indicator, follow these steps:
Daily High and Low: The red line represents the daily high, while the green line represents the daily low. These lines help you understand the market structure and the range within which the price has moved during the previous day.
OTE Zone: The gray area between two gray lines represents the optimal trade entry (OTE) zone. This zone is calculated using Fibonacci retracement levels (in this case, 61.8% and 78.6%) applied to the previous day's high and low. The OTE zone is an area where traders might expect a higher probability of a price reversal, following the ICT concepts.
To use this indicator for trading decisions, you should consider the following:
Identify the market structure and overall trend (uptrend, downtrend, or ranging).
Watch for price action to enter the OTE zone. When the price reaches the OTE zone, it may indicate a higher probability of a price reversal.
Combine the OTE zone with other confluences, such as support and resistance levels, candlestick patterns, or additional ICT concepts like order blocks and market maker profiles, to strengthen your trading decisions.
Always use proper risk management and stop-loss orders to protect your capital in case the market moves against your trade.
Keep in mind that the provided indicator is a simple example based on the ICT concepts and should not be considered financial advice. The ICT methodology is vast, and traders often combine multiple concepts to develop their trading strategies. The provided indicator should be treated as a starting point to explore and implement the ICT concepts in your trading strategy.
ICT NWOG/NDOG Gaps [TradingFinder] New Opening Gaps🔵 Introduction
🟣 Understanding ICT Opening Gaps
In the realm of technical analysis, mastering the art of recognizing market behavior and pinpointing key price levels is vital for making sound trading decisions. Among the array of tools available, the concept of opening gaps stands out for its ability to provide crucial insights.
The ICT (Inner Circle Trader) methodology offers a distinctive approach to understanding the importance of New Day Opening Gaps (NDOG), New Week Opening Gaps (NWOG), and New Monthly Opening Gaps (NMOG).
These gaps, representing the price differences between the close of a previous period and the open of the next, serve as key reference points that can greatly impact price movements.
The ICT trading approach highlights these gaps as potential zones of support and resistance. Prices often respond to these areas, either bouncing off or passing through and then retesting them. Within these gaps, significant levels such as the high and low are particularly important.
Additionally, the Event Horizon PD Array (EHPDA) concept, which is an intermediate level calculated from the average of neighboring NWOGs or NDOGs, adds another layer to this analysis.
This guide delves into ICT's New Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Opening Ranges, showing how these gaps can be effectively utilized in trading. By grasping the nuances of these gaps, traders can better forecast market behavior, identify key support and resistance levels, and refine their trading strategies.
🟣 The Gaps
1. New Week Opening Gap (NWOG) : The NWOG is the price gap between Friday's closing price and Sunday's opening price. This gap is particularly crucial for traders who monitor weekly trends. Depending on the direction of the gap, the NWOG often serves as a pivotal support or resistance level.
2. New Day Opening Gap (NDOG) : The NDOG signifies the price difference between the closing price of the previous day and the opening price of the current day. Much like the NWOG, the NDOG is a key reference point for intraday traders.
Prices typically react to these levels, either reversing or continuing through the gap after a retest. NDOGs are instrumental in identifying short-term support and resistance levels, aiding traders in making decisions based on daily price movements.
3. New Monthly Opening Gap (NMOG) : The NMOG represents the gap between the closing price of the previous month and the opening price of the current month.
This gap is especially valuable for traders focusing on long-term trends and macroeconomic factors. As with NWOGs and NDOGs, the NMOG can act as a significant support or resistance level.
🔵 How to Use
Identifying Support and Resistance : Opening gaps often indicate potential zones where prices might reverse or find support/resistance. For example, if a new day opens below the previous day’s close (creating a NDOG), this gap could act as resistance, prompting traders to consider short positions if the price retests this level without breaking through.
Conversely, if the price opens above the previous day’s close, the gap might serve as support, offering a potential entry point for long trades.
Gap Fill Strategy : A popular strategy associated with opening gaps is the "gap fill" approach, where traders anticipate that the price will eventually return to fill the gap.
For instance, if there’s a significant NDOG at market open, a trader might expect the price to retrace back to the previous day’s close, effectively "filling" the gap. This strategy is particularly effective in markets that exhibit mean-reverting behavior.
Combining Gaps with Other Indicators : Traders often enhance their analysis of NDOG, NWOG, and NMOG by integrating other technical indicators. Aligning gap levels with tools such as Fibonacci retracements, moving averages, or existing support and resistance zones can provide additional confirmation for trade entries and exits.
🔵 Setting
Show and Color : You can control the display or non-display of the range as well as the color of the range.
Max Opening Range Update Method : You can control the number of ranges that are updated. If it is "All", all ranges that are not mitigated will be displayed. If "Custom", the ranges will be updated based on the number you specify.
Max Opening Range Update : The number of ranges to update.
🔵 Conclusion
The ICT New Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Opening Ranges provide traders with a systematic approach to understanding market dynamics and identifying critical support and resistance levels.
By analyzing these gaps, traders can gain deeper insights into potential price movements, spot high-probability trade setups, and strengthen their overall trading strategy. Whether you are focused on short-term day trading or long-term market trends, incorporating NDOG, NWOG, and NMOG analysis into your trading plan can be a powerful addition to your toolkit.
ICT HTF FVGs v2 (fadi)NOTICE: Instead of updating the existing ICT HTF FVGs indicator, this indicator is being published separately due to the requests to keep the original by some traders and because of the drastic change in behavior/configurations. If the original v1 version is more appropriate for your style of trading, feel free to continue to use it.
ICT HTF FVGs v2
In trading, Fair Value Gaps (FVGs) refer to market inefficiencies or imbalances that occur when buying and selling activities are not equal. These gaps can be identified on various timeframes and are used in different trading strategies.
FVGs are crucial in price action trading as they highlight the difference between the current market price of an asset and its fair value. Traders use these gaps to identify potential trading opportunities, as they often indicate areas where the market may correct itself
This indicator will overlap the higher timeframe (HTF) FVGS over the current timeframe to help traders anticipate and plan their trades.
Features
Up to 6 higher timeframes (HTF) can be overlayed on a chart
Traders can limit the number of HTF FVGs to preset number of HTFs
Lower and current timeframes can be included
Configurable spacing of HTF FVGs to prevent overlapping
Configurable Smart Expansion of FVGs based on proximity to current price
Traders can decide what constitutes a Mitigated FVG
Show or hide mitigated FVGs to declutter the chart
Flexible display settings that controls how the FVGs are displayed
Flexible labeling of the FVG levels and content
Higher Timeframes Display Settings
This indicator provides the ability to select up to 6 HTF intervals. These intervals are based on the trader's timeframes including any custom timeframes.
Timeframe Configurations
Enable or Disable a Timeframe
The Timeframe to Display
Bullish / BISI FVG Color
Bearish / SIBI FVG Color
The number of FVGs For The Selected Timeframe
Limit to the next HTFs only can be used to display the selected number of HTF FVGs. For example, if the trader selects 3 then only 3 HTF FVGs will be displayed.
Note: If either of the next two options is selected, they will take up spots from this count.
Hide lower Timeframes restricts the FVGs to higher timeframes only. If this option is disabled, it will show lower timeframes FVGs as well.
Hide Current Timeframe removes current timeframe from the selected list of HTF FVGs. If this option is disabled, it will show current timeframe FVGs as well.
Background Transparency Enable or disable the background color (shaded area) of the FVG. If it is enabled, it will set the transparency amount. The higher the value, the more transparent the background.
Extend lines controls when and how to extend the FVG levels. There are three options:
Extension Only extends the FVGs by the specified number provided below only.
Current Candle Plus Extension extends all the FVGs beyond the current candle by the number provided below.
When in Range will only extend the FVGs near current price based on the advanced settings below. This setting will use Average True Range multiplier to calculate the range (shows FVGs that are higher or lower by the average candle size multiplied by the number in Advanced section).
Mitigated shows or hides the mitigated HTF FVGs. A FVG is considered mitigated based on one of the following options:
None will ignore mitigation and show all FVGs.
Touched when a HTF FVG is touched regardless of how deep the price get inside the FVG.
Wick filled the FVG is closed by a wick or body of a candle.
Body filled the FVG is closed by the body of a candle
Wick filled half a candle's wick or body has reached the C.E. of the FVG
Body filled half a candle body has reached the C.E. of the FVG
Extend mitigated lines sets the number of candles to extend the mitigated FVG levels by for better visibility.
Important Note: Mitigation is calculated based on the timeframe of the FVG, not current timeframe.
Display
Display settings focus on how the FVGs will be displayed. The trader is in total control and there are multiple ways to overlay FVGs on the chart.
Open / Close / C.E. / Link controls the borders. Traders can enable or disable any of them as well as set the thickness and style. Link is the right border.
C.E. also offers the option of setting the bullish (BISI) and bearish (SIBI) colors of the C.E. level
Labeling controls if the labels should be displayed next to the FVG, their color, background, and font size.
Label levels to display controls which levels to show. Open, High. or the C.E.
Label display content controls what to show in the labels, the timeframe of the label, is it a BISI or a SIBI, and a label to indicate if it is the Open or the Close.
Note: if the distance between the open and close has the potential of overlapping the labels, then the indicator will only show the C.E. label for visual clarity.
Advanced Settings
Advanced settings controls some internal calculations:
Proximity factor based on daily range used to calculate possible range of FVGs within a day's range to keep the chart clean. The higher the value, the more FVGs will be shown.
Combine labels factor for visibility used to calculate the distance between the open and close and if all the labels or only the C.E. should be displayed. The higher the value, the bigger the distance for combination (smaller numbers will show more labels).
Range should be within X candles used when "When in Range" option is selected. This is the ATR multiplier used to extend the FVGs. The higher the number, the more FVGs will be extended.
Once desired settings have been achieved, the settings can be saved as default from the bottom left of the indicator settings page for future use.

This indicator shows the Premium and Discount Zones in an alternative way, manually setting the start of the band and automatically shows the HTF and LTF FVG present only in the set band, having a cleaning of the graph from possible other distractions, so as to be able to have a clear vision clear of the set trading range
The user has the possibility to:
- Choose the start of the interval from the graph by moving the start line
- Choose to show levels 50% - 75% - 25% of the range
- Choose the color, style and size of the lines
- Choose to display FVG LTF or HTF in range
- Choose the FVG mitigation mode
The indicator must be used as shown by the ICT in its concepts, the Premium and Discount zones are nothing more than zones where the price risks retracing, and consequently we can evaluate making entries in the Premium Zone, Sell is evaluated, in the Discoutn Zone they are evaluated as Buy, taking the opposite area as Take Profit
As in the example below:
If anything is unclear, comment below and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
How to change range:
ICT index correlated market indicatorThis is not a real indicator, but is what ICT use as indicator for trading futures indexes.
it can only display SP500, Dow Jon Industrial Average and Nasdaq, if someone want other market can copy the code and change some parameters (is more easy than it can appear)
A good idea is using this other market on backtest to confirm the divergence idea of Linda Raske, than use it to spot quickly in real market.
Another idea published by ICT is the "hidden entry pattern", the entry signal appear in ES or YM but I trade NQ for volatility, so I use the trigger of SP500 or Dow to enter in Nasdaq.
Rember always don't trust anybody, do your own backtest and research!
ICT CheckListCredit to the owner of this script "TalesOfTrader"
The Awakening Checklist indicator is a tool designed to help traders evaluate certain key market conditions and elements before making trading decisions. It consists of a series of questions that the trader must answer using the options "Yes", "No" or "N/A" (not applicable).
“Has Asia Session ended?” : This question aims to determine if the Asian trading session has ended. The answer to this question can influence trading strategies depending on market conditions.
“Have you identified potential medium induction?” : This question concerns the identification of potential average inductions on the market. Recognizing these inductions can help traders anticipate future price movements.
"Have you identified potential PoI's": This question asks about the identification of potential points of interest on the market. These points of interest can indicate areas of significant support or resistance.
"Have you identified in which direction they are creating lQ?" : This question aims to determine in which direction market participants create liquidity (lQ). Understanding this dynamic can help make informed trade decisions.
“Have they induced Asia Range”: This question concerns the induction of the Asian range by market participants. Recognizing this induction can be important in assessing future price movements.
“Have you had a medium induction”: This question asks about the presence of a medium induction on the market. The answer to this question can influence trading prospects.
“Do you have a BoS away from the induction”: This question aims to find out if the trader has an offer (BoS) far from the identified induction. This can be a risk management strategy.
"Doas your induction PoI have imbalance": This question concerns the imbalance of points of interest (PoI) linked to induction. Recognizing this imbalance can help anticipate price movements.
“Do you have a valid target in mind”: This question aims to find out if the trader has a clear trading objective in mind. Having a goal can help guide trading decisions and manage risk.
ICT Indicator with Paper TradingThe strategy implemented in the provided Pine Script is based on **ICT (Inner Circle Trader)** concepts, particularly focusing on **order blocks** to identify key levels for potential reversals or continuations in the market. Below is a detailed description of the strategy:
### 1. **Order Block Concept**
- **Order blocks** are price levels where large institutional orders accumulate, often leading to a reversal or continuation of price movement.
- In this strategy, **order blocks** are identified when:
- The high of the current bar crosses above the high of the previous bar (for bullish order blocks).
- The low of the current bar crosses below the low of the previous bar (for bearish order blocks).
### 2. **Buy and Sell Signal Generation**
The core of the strategy revolves around identifying the **breakout** of order blocks, which is interpreted as a signal to either enter or exit trades:
- **Buy Signal**:
- Generated when the closing price crosses **above** the last identified bullish order block (i.e., the highest point during the last upward crossover of highs).
- This signals a potential upward trend, and the strategy enters a long position.
- **Sell Signal**:
- Generated when the closing price crosses **below** the last identified bearish order block (i.e., the lowest point during the last downward crossover of lows).
- This signals a potential downward trend, and the strategy exits any open long positions.
### 3. **Strategy Execution**
The strategy is executed using the `strategy.entry()` and `strategy.close()` functions:
- **Enter Long Positions**: When a buy signal is generated, the strategy opens a long position (buying).
- **Exit Positions**: When a sell signal is generated, the strategy closes the long position.
### 4. **Visual Indicators on the Chart**
To make the strategy easier to follow visually, buy and sell signals are marked directly on the chart:
- **Buy signals** are indicated with a green upward-facing triangle above the bar where the signal occurred.
- **Sell signals** are indicated with a red downward-facing triangle below the bar where the signal occurred.
### 5. **Key Elements of the Strategy**
- **Trend Continuation and Reversals**: This strategy is attempting to capture trends based on the breakout of important price levels (order blocks). When the price breaks above or below a significant order block, it is expected that the market will continue in that direction.
- **Order Block Strength**: Order blocks are considered strong areas where price action could reverse or accelerate, based on how institutional investors place large orders.
### 6. **Paper Trading**
This script uses **paper trading** to simulate trades without actual money being involved. This allows users to backtest the strategy, seeing how it would have performed in historical market conditions.
### 7. **Basic Strategy Flow**
1. **Order Block Identification**: The script constantly monitors price movements to detect bullish and bearish order blocks.
2. **Buy Signal**: If the closing price crosses above the last order block high, the strategy interprets it as a sign of bullish momentum and enters a long position.
3. **Sell Signal**: If the closing price crosses below the last order block low, it signals a bearish momentum, and the strategy closes the long position.
4. **Visual Representation**: Buy and sell signals are displayed on the chart for easy identification.
### **Advantages of the Strategy:**
- **Simple and Clear Rules**: The strategy is based on clearly defined rules for identifying order blocks and trade signals.
- **Effective for Trend Following**: By focusing on breakouts of order blocks, this strategy attempts to capture strong trends in the market.
- **Visual Aids**: The plot of buy/sell signals helps traders to quickly see where trades would have been placed.
### **Limitations:**
- **No Shorting**: This strategy only enters long positions (buying). It does not account for shorting opportunities.
- **No Risk Management**: There are no built-in stop losses, trailing stops, or profit targets, which could expose the strategy to large losses during adverse market conditions.
- **Whipsaws in Range Markets**: The strategy could produce false signals in sideways or choppy markets, where breakouts are short-lived and prices quickly reverse.
### **Overall Strategy Objective:**
The goal of the strategy is to enter into long positions when the price breaks above a significant order block, and exit when it breaks below. The strategy is designed for trend-following, with the assumption that price will continue in the direction of the breakout.
Let me know if you'd like to enhance or modify this strategy further!
ICT Vacuum BlocksThe indicator draws a box between the closing price of one candle and the opening price of the next whenever a gap occurs, helping traders easily spot potential areas of interest where the market has skipped over price levels. The boxes do not extend beyond the gap itself, keeping the chart clean and focused on the price action.
Features:
Detects both upward and downward gaps.
Non-extending boxes that accurately represent the size of each gap.
Customizable colors for up and down gaps to match your chart style.
ICT Asian Range and KillzonesThis TradingView indicator highlights key trading sessions and their price ranges on a chart. It identifies the Asian Range and the Killzones for both the London Open and New York Open sessions. Here’s a brief breakdown:
Asian Range:
Defines the high and low price levels during the Asian trading session (between the specified start and end hours, default 00:00 to 04:00 UTC).
Plots horizontal lines to mark the highest and lowest prices reached during the Asian session.
Adds labels showing the values of these high and low points after the session ends.
London and New York Killzones:
Identifies the “Killzones” or key trading windows for the London Open (default 06:00 to 09:00 UTC) and the New York Open (default 11:00 to 14:00 UTC).
Tracks the high and low price levels within these windows and plots rectangles ("boxes") on the chart to visualize these ranges.
The boxes are color-coded and customizable, indicating potential areas of high market activity or volatility.
Customizable Visuals:
Users can adjust the colors, border widths, and other visual properties for better clarity and chart integration.
Time Matrix TableICT stresses time and liquidity levels in his teachings. This table helps to easily locate these key Time-based price levels. You can use these levels to determine your directional bias and to help generate your narrative for where the market is going.
This indicator creates a table that gives you the price for the following liquidity levels:
PDO - Previous Day Open
PDH - Previous Day High
PDL - Previous Day Low
PDC - Previous Day Close
PDEQ - Equilibrium of the previous day's range. (Calculated by math.abs(((pdh-pdl)/2)+pdl))
PWH - Previous Week High
PWL - Previous Week Low
PDH2 - Two Days Back High
PDL2 - Two Days Back Low
PDH3 - Three Days Back High
PDL3 - Three Days Back Low
And gives you the opening price for the following times:
Daily Open - 6:00pm open for current session
1:30 AM
3:00 AM
4:00 AM
Midnight Open
6:00 AM
7:30 AM
8:30 AM
NY Open
10:00 AM
12:00 PM
NY PM - 1:30pm
2:00 PM
The levels are sorted descending in price in the table, with the background colored based on their relation to price. The prices are also plotted on the chart based on the range you specify in relation to the current price. These lines are also colored based on their relation to price.
This indicator does not give you anything but the price at a specific time, you must determine your own bias and narrative based on the levels that are given.
ICT Handle CounterThe "Handle Counter" is a unique TradingView script designed for ease and effectiveness in tracking price movements. It's particularly useful for traders who follow ICT methodologies. Users manually input their trade entry price, and the script then dynamically calculates and displays the number of Handles, or price changes, in a clear box above the latest candle on the chart. This real-time updating feature provides traders with crucial, current data on price movement, aiding in informed decision-making and a better understanding of market dynamics.
The "Handle Counter" script operates in the following way:
User Input: It starts by allowing you to input your trade's entry price. This is the price level from which the script will measure price movement.
Handles Calculation: The script calculates "Handles," which represent the price difference from your entry point to the current market price. This is done using a mathematical formula that finds the absolute value of this difference.
Display Mechanism: The calculated Handles are then displayed in a box, which is positioned above the latest candle on your trading chart. This box updates in real-time, giving you an ongoing view of how many Handles (price changes) have occurred since your entry point.
This script is designed to be straightforward and easy to use, providing clear, real-time information.
How to use:
Add the Indicator.
Open the Menu by clicking on the 'Settings' icon.
Navigate to the 'Inputs' tab and enter your entry price.
Click 'OK.' The indicator should immediately place a box above the latest candle, showing the current handles.

ICT Time Indicator - MinimalisticThis indicator is intended to make backtesting and journaling a lot easier.
This script will automatically plot the sessions you selec.t
You don't have to worry about your timezone because this indicator will automatically handle that.
For best results please don't go any higher than the Hourly.
I aimed to keep this indicator very minimalistic to reduce the 'lipstick' on your chart.
Enabling any of the follow settings will quickly show you on your chart the times you want to be looking at:
Morning Session
Lunch
Afternoon Session
Marco 0950-1010
Marco 1050-1110
Marco 1450-1510
Silver Bullet London Open
Silver Bullet AM
Silver Bullet PM
You can also customize the color of any time session to suite your color scheme.
If you have any requests please leave a comment (I'm sure there are more marcos) :)
ICT Sessions_One Setup for Life [MK]The script plots the High/Low of the following trading sessions:
London - 02:00-05:00
NY AM - 09:30-12:00
New York Lunch - 12:00-13:30
New York PM - 13:30-16:00
Due to the high level of liquidity (resting orders), highs and lows of these sessions may be used as buy/sell areas and also as profit target areas. Typically, buy orders would be initiated below a session low and sell orders would be initiated above a
session high.
The script also plots 'RTH (Regular Trading Hours) Opening Gaps'. The RTH gaps are drawn from the closing price of regular trading at 16:15 (EST) to the open price of regular trading at 09:30 (EST). Gaps can be areas that traders might anticipate to be filled at some time in the future. A gap 'midline' is available if needed and yesterday RTH close line can be shown and extended to the current bar.
This script is simply a means to draw boxes around certain areas/periods on the charts. It is in no way a trading strategy and users should spend much time to study the concept and should also perform extensive back-testing before taking any trades.
By setting the lookback value to a much higher value then the default of 6, users can utilise the script to perform their own backtesting studies.
The above chart shows the default setup of the indicator. Note that the user has to choose how far (in days) to lookback and draw the sessions/gaps.
It is also possible to show the session high//low lines and extend them to the current bar time. If this is used it is advised to keep the lookback period as low as possible to ensure charts stay clean/uncluttered.
All boxes/lines styles/colors are fully customisable.
ICT Opening Lines [MK]Plots horizontal lines for the following opening times:
00:00 open
08:30 open
09:30 open
13:30 open
Opening lines can be used to monitor for power of 3/judas swings as per ICT teachings. The script allows the user to set a maximum timeframe for displaying the lines to keep HTF charts clean. Also an option is available to hide the lines after the market closes. If the hide option is used, the lines will be removed at 23:00.
Removing the lines after market closes ensures that the charts are clean when the market opens.
Labels can be displayed, colors and line styles can be customised.
ICT MacrosThis script allows traders to visualize the range of time when a macro (an automated series of instructions/trades from large fund traders, executed by an algorithm) will likely occur in the market. It does this by drawing vertical lines and labels on the chart at these specific times:
(Macro Open) - 9:50 AM EST
(Macro Close) - 10:10 AM EST
(Macro Open) - 10:50 AM EST
(Macro Close) - 11:10 AM EST
(Macro Open) - 1:10 PM EST
(Macro Close) - 1:40 PM EST
(Macro Open) - 3:15 PM EST
(Macro Close) - 3:45 PM EST
The theory behind the use of these macros - is that the market will either seek buy side or sell side liquidity, or seek to rebalance price at a point of interest in between the open and close of the macro. Traders who follow this theory can use that information to anticipate how price might behave.
When a macro occurs, the script draws a vertical line on the chart using a dotted line style with a user-defined color. Additionally, a label is placed above the line to indicate whether it is a Macro Open or Macro Close event.
To preserve space, the labels are abbreviated on chart - "Macro Open" (M.O.) and "Macro Close" (M.C.) for both the morning and afternoon trading sessions. The labels may be turned on/off by the user.
The script also includes alerts that can notify traders when a macro occurs. These alerts can be set to go off once per bar close, and the alert message indicates the specific macro type and time.
This script is entirely open-source, meaning that traders can read the code and modify it as needed. Credit to the foundation of this script goes to TradingView user @rickyzcarroll for his open source Strat Assistant Hour Flip script. Important changes include the specific time changes and alert function.
ICT - GAPs and Volume Imbalance
GAPs
Gaps are areas on chart where the price have moved sharply up or down, with no trading in between. Gaps often fill, but they don't have to.
Volume Imbalance
Volume imbalance - determined using 2 candles
Bullish Volume Imbalance - area between the close of 1st candle and the open of 2nd candle
Bearish Volume Imbalance - area between the close of 1st candle and the open of 2nd candle
How to use the indicator:-
When you find imbalance in volume or a GAP in the chart, you may expect price to rebalance it before continuation.
Importantly, GAPs/Imbalances do not always fill. Traders should never assume that a gap/imbalance will fill without understanding the reasons for the gap and monitoring trading activity around the gap.
Pair it with your current bias for better results.
ICT Killzones by MoziThe ICT Killzone and important times indicator.
It highlights:
London Killzone
New York Killzone
New York Lunch Hour
New York Day End Hour
Asian Range
Judas Swing Time
In addition to this, it highlights the US and UK holidays with a background color and a label, so that you don't miss any bank holiday and you are sitting in front of your charts and are wondering, why the chart is not moving ;-)
I manually draw vertical lines at specific times like 08:30 London, 09:30 London, 08:30 New York, 09:30 New York, 11:00 New York (Take Profit Time)
