Depth of Market (DOM) [LuxAlgo]The Depth Of Market (DOM) tool allows traders to look under the hood of any market, taking price and volume analysis to the next level. The following features are included: DOM, Time & Sales, Volume Profile, Depth of Market, Imbalances, Buying Pressure, and up to 24 key intraday levels (it really packs a punch).
As a disclaimer, this tool does not use tick data, it is a DOM reconstruction from the provided real-time time series data (price and volume). So the volume you see is from filled orders only, this tool does not show unfilled limit orders.
Traders can enable or disable any of the features at will to avoid being overwhelmed with too much information and to make the tool perform faster.
The features that have the biggest impact on performance are Historical Data Collection, Key Levels (POC & VWAP), Time & Sales, Profile, and Imbalances. Disable these features to improve the indicator computational performance.
🔶 DOM
This is the simplest form of the tool, a simple DOM or ladder that displays the following columns:
PRICE: Price level
BID: Total number of market sell orders filled or limit buy orders filled.
SELL: Sell market orders
BUY: Buy market orders
ASK: Total number of market buy orders filled or limit sell orders filled.
The DOM only collects historical data from the last 24 hours and real-time data.
Traders can select a reset period for the DOM with two options:
DAILY: Resets at the beginning of each trading day
SESSIONS: Resets twice, as DAILY and 15.5 hours later, to coincide with the start of the RTH session for US tickers.
The DOM has two main modes, it can display price levels as ticks or points. The default is automatic based on the current daily volatility, but traders can manually force one mode or the other if they wish.
For convenience, traders have the option to set the number of lines (price levels), and the size of the text and to display only real-time data.
By default, the top price is set to 0 so that the DOM automatically adjusts the price levels to be displayed, but traders can set the top price manually so that the tool displays only the desired price levels in a fixed manner.
🔹 Volume Profile
As additional features to the basic DOM, traders have access to the volume profile histogram and the total volume per price level.
This helps traders identify at a glance key price areas where volume is accumulating (high volume nodes) or areas where volume is lacking (low volume nodes) - these areas are important to some traders who base their decision-making process on them.
🔹 Imbalances
Other added features are imbalances and buying pressure:
Interlevel Imbalance: volume delta between two different price levels
Intralevel Imbalance: delta between buy and sell volume at the same price level
Buying Pressure Percent: percentage of buy volume compared to total volume
Imbalances can help traders identify areas of interest in the price for possible support or resistance.
🔹 Depth
Depth allows traders to see at a glance how much supply is above the current price level or how much demand is below the current price level.
Above the current price level shows the cumulative ask volume (filled sell limit orders) and below the current price level shows the cumulative bid volume (filled buy limit orders).

Different traders look at different levels, the key levels shown here are objective and specific areas of interest that traders can act on, providing us with potential areas of support or resistance in the price.
🔶 TIME & SALES
The tool also features a full-time and sales panel with time, price, and size columns, a size filter, and the ability to set the timezone to display time in the trader's local time.
The information shown here is what feeds the DOM and it can be useful in several ways, for example in detecting absorption. If a large number of orders are coming into the market but the price is barely moving, this indicates that there is enough liquidity at these levels to absorb all these orders, so if these orders stop coming into the market, the price may turn around.
🔶 SETTINGS
Period: Select the anchoring period to start data collection, DAILY will anchor at the start of the trading day, and SESSIONS will start as DAILY and 15.5 hours later (RTH for US tickers).
Mode: Select between AUTO and MANUAL modes for displaying TICKS or POINTS, in AUTO mode the tool will automatically select TICKS for tickers with a daily average volatility below 5000 ticks and POINTS for the rest of the tickers.
Rows: Select the number of price levels to display
Text Size: Select the text size

Top Price: Specify the price to be displayed on the top row, set to 0 to enable dynamic DOM
Max updates: Specify how many times the values on the SELL and BUY columns are accumulated until reset.
Profile/Depth size: Maximum size of the histograms on the PROFILE and DEPTH columns.
Profile: Enable/Disable Profile column. High impact on performance.
Volume: Enable/Disable Volume column. Total volume traded at price level.
Interlevel Imbalance: Enable/Disable Interlevel Imbalance column. Total volume delta between the current price level and the price level above. High impact on performance.
Depth: Enable/Disable Depth, showing the cumulative supply above the current price and the cumulative demand below. Impact on performance.
Intralevel Imbalance: Enable/Disable Intralevel Imbalance column. Delta between total buy volume and total sell volume. High impact on performance.
Buying Pressure Percent: Enable/Disable Buy Percent column. Percentage of total buy volume compared to total volume.
Imbalance Threshold %: Threshold for highlighting imbalances. Set to 90 to highlight the top 10% of interlevel imbalances and the top and bottom 10% of intra-level imbalances.
Crypto volume precision: Specify the number of decimals to display on the volume of crypto assets

Key Levels: Enable/Disable KEY column. Very high performance impact.
Previous Week: Enable/Disable High, Low, Middle, and Close of the previous trading week.

Volume Profile [TFO]This indicator generates Volume Profiles from which to display insights about recent Volume Points of Control and High Volume Nodes. Volume Profile is a way to view trading volume by the price where trades have occurred, rather than the time when they occur (as seen by traditional Volume indicators).
By selecting a Resolution Timeframe (1m in this example), we can aggregate the volume at different prices to build a Volume Profile for a specified Profile Timeframe (1D in this example). In this indicator, we make the simple assumption that a given candle's volume is distributed evenly across all points. Realistically, this is seldom the case, but it gives us a starting point to easily estimate the volume at a given price, in turn helping us to build our profiles in a trivial way.
If we do this for all Resolution Timeframe candles within a Profile Timeframe (all 1m candles in a single 1D candle, in this example), then we can successfully aggregate this data and build a full Volume Profile. And thankfully, Pine Script's new polyline feature ultimately allow us to keep more Volume Profiles on our charts. Before polylines, we would have to consider using lines or boxes to represent the individual levels within a given profile, and each script currently has a cap of 500 lines and boxes, respectively. However, one single polyline can be used to draw the complex shape of an entire profile, and we may show up to 100 polylines in a given script. This helps us keep a lot more data on our charts!
Compared to TradingView's Session Volume Profile indicator (blue/yellow), we can see that our indicator (grey) is nearly identical, which verifies that our assumption of a uniform volume distribution is enough to roughly estimate a given Volume Profile. Note in this example the Row Size was set to 200, meaning that 200 levels are used to approximate profiles from each session's high to its low.
Show VPOC will show the volume point of control of each profile, which represents the price level where the largest amount of volume was traded for a given profile. This is shown with the red lines in the following chart.
Extend Last N VPOCs will look for the most recent, user-defined number of VPOCs (not including the current session's VPOC that's still developing) and extend them to the right of the chart as points of reference. The Show Labels Above option will annotate each VPOC with its respective date above a specified timeframe. This way, if one was using Volume Profiles on intraday timeframes, there wouldn't need to be several date strings all showing the same day.
Show Previous HVNs will show high volume nodes from the previous session. The HVN Strength setting is similar to a "pivot strength" that I use in a lot of my scripts - essentially, HVNs are validated by treating them as local highs. With a HVN Strength of 10 for example, if a given level contains more volume than the 10 levels above and below it, then it is validated as a HVN.
For a cleaner look and feel, HVNs can instead be shown as levels (lines) instead of areas (boxes). With levels enabled, solid lines denote the previous session's VPOC, and dotted lines represent all other HVNs. With areas enabled instead, the tops and bottoms will extend above/below the HVN level until a point with greater volume is discovered (marking the "end" of the node).
This indicator can be computationally intensive and may crash from taking too long to execute. In these cases, it's best to disable unused features, decrease the number of Rows, and/or simply reload the chart until it populates.
Volume Profile Histogram [SS]I usually (and by usually, I mean the past year xD) release a significant indicator as my Christmas gift to the community on Christmas Eve. Last year, it was the Z-Score buy and sell signal; this year, it's something a little more conventional. So here is this year’s gift—hope you like it! 🎁
Seems like everyone has their take on Volume Profiles (aka SVP or VSP). I decided to create one, and in true Steversteves fashion, you can expect to find all the goodies that come with most of my stuff, including a volume profile presented in a bell-curve/histogram style (chart above) and statistical frequency tables showing the cases by ranges:
And it wouldn't be a true Steversteves indicator without some kind of ATR thing:
So, what does it do?
At the end of the day, it is a form of an SVP indicator. However, it is meant to operate on a larger scale, sorting volume in a traditional bell-curve style. In addition to displaying volume, it breaks down buying vs. selling volume. Selling volume is classified as such when the open is greater than close, while buying is when close is greater than open. This breakdown allows you to see the distribution, by price range, of where selling and buying occur.
This permits the indicator to provide 2 Points of Control (POCs). A POC is defined as an area of high volume activity. Because buying and selling volumes are broken down into two, we can identify areas with high selling and areas with high buying. Sometimes they coincide, sometimes they differ.
If we look at SQQQ, for example:
We can see that the bearish point of control is one point below the bullish POC. This is interesting because it essentially shows where people may be "panic selling" or setting their stop-outs. If SQQQ drops below 18.8, then it's likely to trigger panic selling, as indicated by the histogram.
Conversely, we can observe that traders tend to position long between $18 and $24. The POC is noted in the stats table and also displayed on the chart. Bullish POC is shown in purple, bearish in yellow. These, of course, can be toggled off.
The Frequency Table:
The frequency table shows how many observations were obtained in each price range. The histogram illustrates the cumulative volume traded, while the frequency simply counts how many cases occurred over the lookback period.
ATR Range Analytics by Volume:
The indicator also has the ability to display range analytics by volume. When you toggle on the range analytics by volume option, a range chart will appear:

The range chart goes from the minimum recorded volume to the maximum recorded volume in the period, showing the average range and direction associated with this volume. This is crucial to pay attention to because not all stocks behave the same way.
For example, in the chart above (AMD), we can see that low volume produces a general bearish bias, and high volume produces a general bullish bias. However, if we look at the range analytics for SPY:
Low volume has the inverse effect. Low volume is associated with a more bullish bias, and high volume indicates a more bearish bias. In the ATR chart, the threshold volume to transition from bullish bias to bearish bias is approximately > 78,607,268 traded shares.
The Stats Table:
The stats table can be toggled on or off. It simply displays the POCs and the time range for the VSP. The default time range is 1 trading year (252 days), assuming you are on the daily timeframe. However, you can use this on any timeframe.
The percentages displayed in the histogram is the cumulative percent of buying and selling volume independently. So when you see the percentage on the selling histogram, its the percent of cumulative selling only. Same for the buying.

Supply Demand Profiles [LuxAlgo]The Supply Demand Profiles is a charting tool that measures the traded volume at all price levels on the market over a specified time period and highlights the relationship between the price of a given asset and the willingness of traders to either buy or sell it, in other words, highlights key concepts as significant supply & demand zones, the distribution of the traded volume, and market sentiment at specific price levels within a specified time period, allowing traders to reveal dominant and/or significant price levels and to analyze the trading activity of a particular user-selected range.

Supply & demand zones are presented as horizontal zones across the selected range, hence adding the ability to visualize the price interaction with them
By default, the right side of the profile is the volume profile which highlights the distribution of the traded activity at different price levels, emphasizing the value area, the range of price levels in which the specified percentage of all volume was traded during the time period, and levels of significance, such as developing point of control line, value area high/low lines, and profile high/low labels
The left side of the profile is the sentiment profile which highlights the market sentiment at specific price levels

The users have the option to select volume data sources as either 'volume' (regular volume) or 'volume delta', where volume represents all the recorded trades that occur at a given bar and volume delta is the difference between the buying and the selling volume, that is, the net demand at a given bar

The users are able to choose the methods of how the tool to take into consideration the polarity of the bar (the direction of a bar, green (bullish) or red (bearish) bar) among a variety of different options, such as 'bar polarity', 'bar buying/selling pressure', 'intrabar (chart bars at a lower timeframe than the chart's) polarity', 'intrabar buying/selling pressure', and 'heikin ashi bar polarity'.
Finally, the interactive mode of the tool is activated, as such users can easily modify the intervals of their interest just by selecting the indicator and moving the points on the chart

The Price Range Volume Profile (PRVP) is a revolutionary indicator. Volume Profile is a valuable tool for traders who want insights into where the majority of trading activity has occurred. Here are some tips to make the most of it:
► Understand the Basics: Before using the Volume Profile, ensure you understand the difference between it and the standard volume histogram. While both represent volume, the former displays it against price while the latter shows it against time.
► Identify High Volume Nodes (HVN) and Low Volume Nodes (LVN):
◊ HVN: Areas where there's a lot of trading activity and where the price has spent a lot of time. These areas can act as strong support or resistance.

◊ To address any errors arising from too many levels displayed on the volume profile, consider increasing the Profile Step size or reducing the Price Range.
Net Positions (Net Longs & Net Shorts) - By LeviathanThis script is an experimental indicator that visualizes the entering and exiting of long and short positions in the market. It also includes other useful tools, such as NL/NS Profile, NL/NS Delta, NL/NS Ratio, Volume Heatmap, Divergence finder, Relative Strength Index of Net Longs and Net Shorts, EMAs and VWMAs and more.
To avoid misinterpretation, it's important to understand some basics. The “real” ratio between net long and net short positions in a given market is always 1:1. A futures contract is an agreement between two parties to buy or sell an underlying asset at an agreed-upon price. Each contract has a long side and a short side, with one party agreeing to buy (long) and the other party agreeing to sell (short) the asset at the agreed-upon price. The long position holder anticipates that the asset's price will rise, while the short position holder expects it to fall. Because every futures contract involves both a buyer and a seller, it is impossible to have more net longs than net shorts or vice versa (in terms of the net value). For every long position opened, there must be a corresponding short position taken by another market participant (and vice versa), thus maintaining the 1:1 ratio between longs and shorts. While there can be an imbalance in the number of traders/accounts holding long and short contracts, the net value of positions held on each side remains 1 to 1.
Open Interest (OI) is a metric that tracks the number of open (unsettled) contracts in a given market. For example, Open Interest of 100 BTC means that there are currently 100 BTC worth of longs and 100 BTC worth of shorts open in the market. There may be more traders on one side holding smaller positions, and fewer traders on the other side holding larger positions, but the net value of positions on one side is equal to the net value of positions on the other side → 100 BTC in longs and 100 BTC in shorts (1:1). Consider a scenario in which a trader decides to open a long position for 1 BTC at a price of HKEX:30 ,000. For this long order to be executed, a counterparty must take the opposite side of the contract by placing an order to short 1 BTC at the same price of HKEX:30 ,000. When both the long and short orders are matched and executed, the open interest increases by 1 BTC, reflecting the addition of this new contract to the market.
Changes in Open Interest essentially tell us 3 things:
- OI Increase - new positions entered the market (both longs and shorts!)
- OI Decrease - positions exited the market (both longs and shorts!)
- OI Flat - no change in open positions due to low activity or simply lots of transfers of contracts
However, different concepts can be used to analyze sentiment, aggressiveness, and activity in the market by analyzing data such as Open Interest, price, volume, etc. This indicator combines Open Interest data and price action to simplify the visualization of positions entering and exiting the market. It is based on the following concept:
Increase in Open Interest + Increase in price = Longs Opening
Decrease in Open Interest + Decrease in price = Longs Closing
Increase in Open Interest + Decrease in price = Shorts Opening
Decrease in Open Interest + Increase in price = Shorts Closing
When "Longs Opening" occurs, the OI Delta value is added to the running total of Net Longs, and when "Longs Closing" occurs, the OI Delta value is subtracted from the running total of Net Longs.
When "Shorts Opening" occurs, the OI Delta value is added to the running total of Net Shorts, and when "Shorts Closing" occurs, the OI Delta value is subtracted from the running total of Net Shorts.
To summarize:
Net Longs: Cumulative value of Longs Opening and Longs Closing (LO - LC)
Net Shorts: Cumulative value of Shorts Opening and Shorts Closing (SO - SC)
Net Delta: Net Longs - Net Shorts
Net Ratio: Net Longs / Net Shorts
This is the fundamental logic of how this script functions, but it also includes several other tools and options. Here is an overview of the settings:

- Net Positions (display values of Net Longs, Net Shorts, Net Delta, Net Ratio as described above)
- Relative Strength (display Net Longs, Net Shorts, Net Delta, Net Ratio in the form of a momentum oscillator that measures the speed and change of movements. Same logic as RSI for price)

[potatoshop] Volume Profile lower timeframeThis script is a volume profile that displays the volume of transactions in price blocks over a recent period of time.
For a more detailed representation, OHCLV values on the time frame lower than the time zone on the chart were called and expressed.
Low time frames are adjustable.
You can adjust the number of blocks and the most recent time period that you want to view.
Although it cannot be compared to the volume indicators provided for paid users of Trading-View, it has functioned by displaying transactions that are difficult to find on open source.
Displays the amount traded in each block and the percentage of the total over a given period.
POC represents the middle value of the block with the highest transaction volume as a line.
TPOC represents the block that stayed the longest regardless of the volume of transaction.
The reversal line appears when you determine the trading advantage of the rising and falling closing on a block basis and then have a different value from the neighboring blocks.
(I didn't mean it much, but I just put it in for fun.)
It represents the total volume of transactions traded in each block, and there are also check boxes in the settings window that represent the volume of transactions that closed higher and closed lower.
You can specify the color of each block.
The highest and lowest values for the set period and the total sum of each block are displayed at the bottom of the box.
Because it was made using a lot of arrays, the total transaction volume was marked separately to check the value.
When expressing the price block according to the trading volume percentage, it was a pity that the minimum pixel was 1 bar, so it could not be expressed delicately.
Although set to bar_time in Box properties xloc, 1 bar was actually the minimum unit of the X-axis value.
The logic used to place the transaction volume for each block is as follows.
1. Divide the difference between the high and low values of 1 LTF bar by the transaction volume .
2. Find the percentage of this LTF bar within each block.
3. Multiply the ratio by the transaction volume again.
4. Store the value in each block cell.

각 블럭에서 거래되었던 양 과 주어진 기간 동안의 총량 대비 퍼센트를 표시해 줍니다.
POC는 거래량이 가장 많았던 블럭의 중간값을 라인으로 표현해 줍니다.
TPOC는 거래량에 상관없이 가장 오랜 시간 머물렸던 블럭을 표현해 줍니다.
반전선은 블럭 단위로 상승 마감과 하락 마감의 거래량 우세를 결정한 뒤, 이웃 블럭들하고 다른 값을 가질 때 나타납니다.
(어떤 뜻을 갖고 만든 건 아니고 그냥 재미로 넣어 보았습니다.)
각 블럭에서 거래되었던 총거래량을 표현해 주며, 또한 설정창에서 상승 마감한 거래량과 하락 마감한 거래량을 표현하는 체크 박스가 있습니다.
각 블럭의 색깔을 지정하실 수 있습니다.
설정된 기간 동안의 최고값과 최저값, 각 블럭을 합친 총량을 박스 하단에 표시해 두었습니다.
어레이를 많이 사용하여 만들었기 때문에 값의 확인을 위해 전체 거래량을 따로 표시하였습니다.
가격 블럭을 거래량 퍼센트에 따라 표현할 때, 최소 픽셀이 1bar 이어서 섬세하게 표현 할 수 없어 안타까웠습니다.
박스 속성을 xloc.bar_time 로 설정하였지만 실제로는 1 bar가 X축 값의 최소 단위였습니다.
각 블록 별로 거래량을 배치 할 때 쓰인 로직은 다음과 같습니다.
1. 1 LTF bar의 하이 와 로우 값의 차이를 거래량으로 나누어 줍니다.
2. 각 블록 안에서 이 LTF bar가 차지 하는 비율을 구합니다.
3. 그 비율에 다시 거래량을 곱해 줍니다.
4. 그 값을 각 블록 셀에 저장해 줍니다.

Volume Profile [LuxAlgo]Displays the estimate of a volume profile, with the option to show a rolling POC (point of control). Users can change the lookback, row size, and various visual aspects of the volume profile.
Settings
Basic:
Lookback: Number of most recent bars to use for the calculation of the volume profile
Row Size: Determines the number of rows used for the calculation of the volume profile
Show Rolling POC: Determines whether to display the rolling POC of the volume profile
Style:
Width (% of the box): Determines the length of the bars relative to the Lookback value
Bar Width: Width of each bar
Flip Histogram: Flips the histogram, when enabled, the histogram base will be located at the most recent candle
Gradient: Allows to color the volume profile bars with a gradient, with a color intensity determined by the length of each bar
Rows Solid Color: Color of each bar when 'Gradient' is disabled
POC Solid Color: Color of the POC when 'Gradient' is disabled
Usage
It is very common to display volume over time in order to visualize the trading activity made over a specific candle, however this is not the only way to display volume and it can be interesting to put it in relation with the price, which is what volume profiles do.
Volume profiles are displayed as price relative histograms showing the accumulated volume within certain price areas, the number of areas are determined by the row size of the volume profile. Knowing which price's area accumulated the most volume allow highlighting areas of interest to market participants.
Most accumulated volume will be encountered in zones of equilibrium between buyers and sellers; that is zones of local price stationarity. These zones are highlighted by high volume nodes in the volume profile. Imbalance between buyers and sellers are highlighted by thinner zones of the volume profile.
The price level with the most accumulated volume is highlighted by the "point of control" (POC), displayed by the dotted line in the indicator.
The POC is often considered an important level, commonly used as support/resistance by traders. One can verify the accuracy of this use case by using the rolling POC (assuming one would use the POC over time as SR).
Indicator Limitations
Volume profiles are calculated using tick data, which is not the case of this estimate, as such you won't have an accurate representation of an actual volume profile.
The rolling POC can introduce time outs in the script computation, use lower lookback and row size value to display it.

Volume Profile is suitable for day and swing trading on stock and futures markets, is a volume based indicator that gives you 6 key values for each session: POC, VAH, VAL, profile HIGH, LOW and MID levels. This project was born on the idea of plotting the RTH sessions Value Areas for /ES in an automated way, but you can select between 3 different sessions: RTH, GLOBEX and FULL sessions.
Some basic concepts:
- Volume Profile calculates the total volume for the session at each price level and give us market generated information about what price and range of prices are the most traded (where the value is)
- Value Area (VA): range of prices where 70% of the session volume is traded
- Value Area High (VAH): highest price within VA
- Value Area Low (VAL): lowest price within VA
- Point of Control (POC): the most traded price of the session (with the most volume)
- Session HIGH, LOW and MID levels are also important
There are a huge amount of things to know of Market Profile and Auction Theory like types of days, types of openings, relationships between value areas and openings... for those interested Jim Dalton's work is the way to come

BE AWARE: this indicator is based on the current chart's time interval and it only plots on 1, 2, 3, 5, 10, 15 and 30 minutes charts.
This is the correlation table TV uses in the Volume Profile Session Volume indicator (from the wiki above)

This indicator doesn't follow that correlation, it doesn't get the volume data from a lower timeframe, it gets the data from the current chart resolution.
FEATURES
- 6 key values for each session: POC (solid yellow), VAH (solid red), VAL (solid green), profile HIGH (dashed silver), LOW (dashed silver) and MID (dotted silver) levels
- 3 sessions to choose for: RTH, GLOBEX and FULL
- select the numbers of sessions to plot by adding 12 hours periods back in time
- show/hide POC
- show/hide VAH & VAL
- show/hide session HIGH, LOW & MID levels
- highlight the periods of time out of the session (silver)
- extend the plotted lines all the way to the right, be careful this can turn the chart unreadable if there are a lot of sessions and lines plotted
SETTINGS
- Session: select between RTH (8:30 to 15:15 CT), GLOBEX (17:00 to 8:30 CT) and FULL (17:00 to 15:15 CT) sessions. RTH by default
- Last 12 hour periods to show: select the deph of the study by adding periods, for example, 60 periods are 30 natural days and around 22 trading days. 1 period by default
- Show POC (Point of Control): show/hide POC line. true by default
- Show VA (Value Area High & Low): show/hide VAH & VAL lines. true by default
- Show Range (Session High, Low & Mid): show/hide session HIGH, LOW & MID lines. true by default
- Highlight out of session: show/hide a silver shadow over the non session periods. true by default
- Extension: Extend all the plotted lines to the right. false by default
HOW TO SETUP
BE AWARE THIS INDICATOR PLOTS ONLY IN THE FOLLOWING CHART RESOLUTIONS: 1, 2, 3, 5, 10, 15 AND 30 MINUTES CHARTS. YOU MUST SELECT ONE OF THIS RESOLUTIONS TO THE INDICATOR BE ABLE TO PLOT
- By default this indicator plots all the levels for the last RTH session within the last 12 hours, if there is no plot try to adjust the 12 hours periods until the seesion and the periods match
- For Globex/Full sessions just select what you want from the dropdown menu and adjust the periods to plot the values
- Show or hide the levels you want with the 3 groups: POC line, VA lines and Session Range lines
- The highlight and extension options are for a better visibility of the levels as POC or VAH/VAL

This indicator calculates Volume Profile for a given range and shows it as a histogram consisting of 50 horizontal bars.
It can also show Point of Control (POC), Developing POC, Value Area/VWAP StdDev High/Low as dynamically moving levels.
Free accounts can't access Standard TradingView Volume Profile, hence this indicator.
There are several versions: Free Pro, Free MAX SLI, Free History. This is the Free MAX SLI version. The Differences are listed below:

Usage:
- specify max_level/min_level/spacing (required)
- select range (start_bar, range length), confirm with range highlighting
- select volume type: Buy/Sell/Total

- flip/select anchor point to position the buy/sell levels
- use Horiz SLI mode for 50 Buy/Sell or Vertical SLI for 150 levels if needed
- use POC/Developing POC/VA/VWAP High/Low as S/R levels. Usually daily values from 1-3 days back are used as levels for the current day.
SLI:
- use SLI modes to extend the functionality of the indicator:
- Horiz Buy/Sell 2x SLI lets you view 50 Buy/Sell Levels at the same time
- Vertical Max_Vol 3x SLI lets you increase the resolution to 150 levels
- you need at least 2 instances of the indicator attached to the same chart for SLI to work
1) Enable Horiz SLI:
- attach 2 indicator instances to the chart
- make sure all instances have the same min_level/max_level/range/spacing settings
- select volume type for each instance: you can have a buy/sell or buy/total or sell/total SLI. Make sure your buy volume instance is the last attached to be displayed on top of sell/total instances without overlapping.
- set buy_sell_sli_mode to true for indicator instances with volume_type = buy/sell, for type total this is optional.
- this basically tells the script to calculate % lengths based on total volume instead of individual buy/sell volumes and use ext offset for sell levels
- Sell Offset is calculated relative to Buy Offset to stack/extend sell after buy. Buy Offset = Zero - Buy Length. Sell Offset = Buy Offset - Sell Length = Zero - Buy Length - Sell Length
- there are no master/slave instances in this mode, all indicators are equal, poc/va levels are not affected and can work independently, i.e. one instance can show va levels, another - vwap.
2) Enable Vertical SLI:
- attach the first instance and evaluate the full range to roughly determine where is the highest max_vol/poc level i.e. 0..20000, poc is in the bottom half (third, middle etc) or
- add more instances and split the full vertical range between them, i.e. set min_level/max_level of each corresponding instance to 0..10000, 10000..20000 etc
- make sure all instances have the same range/spacing settings
- an instance with a subrange containing the poc level of the full range is now your master instance (bottom half). All other instances are slaves, their levels will be calculated based on the max_vol/poc of the master instance instead of local values
- set show_max_vol_sli to true for the master instance. for slave instances this is optional and can be used to check if master/slave max_vol values match and slave can read the master's value. This simply plots the max_vol value
- you can also attach all instances and set show_max_vol_sli to true in all of them - the instance with the largest max_vol should become the master
Auto/Manual Ext Max_Vol Modes:
- for auto vertical max_vol SLI mode set max_vol_sli_src in all slave instances to the max_vol of the master indicator: "VolumeProfileFree_MAX_RRB: Max Volume for Vertical SLI Mode". It can be tricky with 2+ instances
- in case auto SLI mode doesn't work - assign max_vol_sli_ext in all slave instances the max_vol value of the master indicator manually and repeat on each change
- manual override max_vol_sli_ext has higher priority than auto max_vol_sli_src when both values are assigned, when they are 0 and close respectively - SLI is disabled
- master/slave max_vol values must match on each bar at all times to maintain proper level scale, otherwise slave's levels will look larger than they should relative to the master's levels.
- Max_vol (red) is the last param in the long list of indicator outputs
- the only true max_vol/poc in this SLI mode is the master's max_vol/poc. All poc/va levels in slaves will be irrelevant and are disabled automatically. Slaves can only show VWAP levels.
- VA Levels of the master instance in this SLI mode are calculated based on the subrange, not the whole range. Cross check with the full range.
WARNING!
- auto mode max_vol_sli_src is experimental and may not work as expected
- you can only assign auto mode max_vol_sli_src = max_vol once due to some bug with unhandled exception/buffer overflow in Tradingview. Seems that you can clear the value only by removing the indicator instance
- sometimes you may see a "study in error state" error when attempting to set it back to close. Remove indicator/Reload chart and start from scratch
- volume profile may not finish to redraw and freeze in an ugly shape after an UI parameter change when max_vol_sli_src is assigned a max_vol value. Assign it to close - VP should redraw properly, but it may not clear the assigned max_vol value
- you can't seem to be able to assign a proper auto max_vol value to the 3rd slave instance
- 2x Vertical SLI works and tested in both auto/manual, 3x SLI - only manual seems to work
Notes:
- This code is 20x-30x faster (main for cycle is removed) especially on lower tfs with long history - only 2-3 sec load/redraw time vs 30-60 sec of the old Pro versions
- Instead of repeatedly calculating the total sum of volumes for the whole range on each bar, vol sums are now increased on each bar and passed to the next in the range making it a per range vs per bar calculation that reduces time dramatically
- hist_base for levels still results is ugly redraw
- if you don't see a volume profile check range settings: min_level/max_level and spacing, set spacing to 0 (or adjust accordingly based on the symbol's precision, i.e. 0.00001)
- you can view either of Buy/Sell/Total volumes, but you can't display Buy/Sell levels at the same time using a single instance (this would 2x reduce the number of levels). Use 2 indicator instances in horiz buy/sell sli mode for that.
- Volume Profile/Value Area are calculated for a given range and updated on each bar. Each level has a fixed length. Offsets control visible level parts. Side Cover hides the invisible parts.
- Custom Color for POC/VA/VWAP levels - UI Style color/transparency can only change shape's color and doesn't affect textcolor, hence this additional option
- Custom Width - UI Style supports only width <= 4, hence this additional option
- POC is visible in both modes. In VWAP mode Developing POC becomes VWAP, VA High and Low => VWAP High and Low correspondingly to minimize the number of plot outputs
- You can't change buy/sell level colors from input (only plot transparency) - this requires 2x plot outputs => 2x reduces the number of levels to fit the max 64 limit. That's why 2 additional plots are used to dim the non Value Area zones
- All buy/sell volume lengths are calculated as % of a fixed base width = 100 bars (100%). You can't set show_last from input to change it
- There's no such thing as buy/sell volume, there's just volume, but for the purposes of the Volume Profile method, assume: bull candle = buy volume, bear candle = sell volume
P.S. Gravitonium Levels Are Increasing. Unobtainium is nowhere to be found!

1. Identifying Support and Resistance
This is the most direct way to use the indicator. The extended lines from the previous day are your roadmap for the current session.
Previous Day's POC (pPOC): This is the most significant level. Watch for price to react strongly here. It can act as powerful support if approached from above or strong resistance if approached from below.
Previous Day's VAH (pVAH): Expect this level to act as initial resistance. A clean break above pVAH can signal a strong bullish trend.
Previous Day's VAL (pVAL): Expect this level to act as initial support. A firm break below pVAL can indicate a strong bearish trend.
Example Strategy: If SPY opens and rallies up to the previous day's VAH and stalls, this is a high-probability area to look for a short entry, with a stop loss just above the level.
2. The "Open-Drive" Rejection
How the market opens in relation to the previous day's value area is a powerful tell.
Open Above Yesterday's Value Area: If the market opens above the pVAH, it signals strength. The first pullback to test the pVAH is often a key long entry point. The level is expected to flip from resistance to support.
Open Below Yesterday's Value Area: If the market opens below the pVAL, it signals weakness. The first rally to test the pVAL is a potential short entry, as the level is likely to act as new resistance.
3. Fading the Extremes
When price pushes far outside the previous day's value area, it can become overextended.
Reversal at Highs: If price rallies significantly above the pVAH and then starts to lose momentum (e.g., forming bearish divergence on RSI or a topping pattern), it could be an opportunity to short the market, targeting a move back toward the pVAH or pPOC.
Reversal at Lows: Conversely, if price drops far below the pVAL and shows signs of bottoming, it can be a good opportunity to look for a long entry, targeting a reversion back to the value area.

These settings are the default and are optimized for scalping or day trading SPY on a 1-minute chart.
Value Area (%): 50%. This creates a tighter, more sensitive value area, perfect for identifying the most critical intraday zones.
Number of Rows: 1000. This high resolution is essential for a low-volatility instrument like SPY, ensuring that the profile is detailed and the levels are precise.
Session Time: 0400-1800 in America/New_York. This captures the full pre-market and core session, which is crucial for understanding the day's complete volume story.

⭕️ How it works
Extremes (Pivot Points) are taken as a basis, after confirming the relevance of the extremes we take the upper and lower extremes and form a range. We check if it does not violate a number of rules and filters, perform volume calculations, and only then is the range displayed.
Pivot points is a built-in feature that shows an extremum if it has not been updated N bars to the left and N bars to the right. Therefore, there is a delay depending on the bars specified to check, which allows for a more accurate range. This approach allows not to make unnecessary recalculations, which completely eliminates the possibility of redrawing or range changes.

Left Bars and Right Bars — Allows you to define the point that is the highest among the specified number of bars to the left and right of this point.
Range Logic — Select from which point to draw the range. Maximums only, Minimums only or both.
Use Wick — Option to consider the wick of the candles when identifying Range.
Breakout Confirmation — The number of bars required to confirm a breakout, after which the range will close.
Minimum Range Length — Sets the minimum number of candles needed for a range to be considered valid.
Row Size — Number of levels to calculate POC. *Larger values increase the script load.
% Range Filter — Dont Show Range is than more N% of Average Range.
