The most important concepts of "ICT" : Order Block Fair Value Gap(FVG) Liquidity 🟣 Session Financial markets are divided into several time periods, each featuring distinct characteristics and levels of activity. These periods, known as sessions, are active at different times during the day. The primary active sessions in financial markets include : Asian Session European Session New York Session Based on the UTC time zone, the schedule for these key sessions is : Asian Session: 23:00 to 06:00 European Session: 07:00 to 16:30 New York Session: 13:00 to 22:00 Note To avoid session overlap and minimize interference during kill zones, the session times have been modified as follows : Asian Session: 23:00 to 06:00 European Session: 07:00 to 14:25 New York Session: 14:30 to 22:55 🟣 KillZone Kill zones are periods within a session where trader activity spikes. During these times, trading volume surges, and price movements become more pronounced. If they were to enter the market with small quantities, substantial price movements would occur before the orders were fully executed, reducing potential profit. To mitigate this, they divide their orders into smaller, more manageable positions. Traders should seek "buy" opportunities in "demand order blocks" and "sell" opportunities in "supply order blocks." 🟣 Fair Value Gap (FVG) To pinpoint the "Fair Value Gap" on the chart, meticulous candle-by-candle analysis is essential. Pay close attention to candles with significant bodies, examining each candle alongside the one preceding it. The candles flanking this central candle should exhibit elongated shadows, with bodies that do not intersect the body of the central candle. The span between the shadows of the first and third candles is referred to as the FVG range. Note : The origin of all Order Blocks and FVGs starts from inside a kill zone and extends up to the end of the same session. 🟣 Kill Zone Hunt Following this strategy, after the conclusion of the kill zone and the stabilization of its high and low lines, if the price touches either of these lines within the same session and encounters a robust rejection, it presents an opportunity to enter a trade. 🔵 Setting 🟣 Global Setting Show All Order Block : If it is turned off, only the last Order Block will be displayed. KillZones & Sessions [TradingFinder] Volume | Asia, London & NY🔵 Introduction 🟣 Session The forex market operates 24 hours a day, 5 days a week, with only Saturdays and Sundays being off; traders often focus on one of the forex trading sessions instead of trying to trade in all markets 24 hours a day. Trading sessions are time intervals during which a specific financial market is active and trades are conducted. The Asia, London, and New York sessions are the most important trading sessions throughout the 24-hour period, during which a significant amount of money and liquidity enters the market. 🟣 Kill Zone Traders in financial markets profit from the difference between the price at which they buy or sell and the current market price. Traders have different time horizons for trading. Among these, some traders engage in daily or even hourly trading and must operate during times when the market has desirable trading volumes and significant price movements. Kill zones are segments of a session with higher trading volumes and price fluctuations compared to the rest of the session. 🔵 How to Use 🟣 Session Time The "Asia Session" consists of two sessions: "Sydney" and "Tokyo." The beginning of this session, according to the "UTC" time zone, is at 23:00 and ends at 06:00. Similarly, the beginning of the "Asia KillZone," according to the "UTC" time zone, is at 23:00, and it ends at 03:55. The "London Session" consists of two sessions: "Frankfurt" and "London." Opening Range Gaps [TFO]This indicator displays Opening Range Gaps with an adjustable time window. Its intention is to capture the discrepancy between the close price of previous and new Real Trading Hours (RTH) sessions, i.e. yesterday's close compared to today's open. A gap will be drawn from this area with a solid line denoting its midpoint, and dashed lines denoting the upper and lower quartiles of its range. Its color is determined by whether the new session open price is above or below the previous session close. The Gap Session parameter allows users to define the specific time window for which to capture the "gap" in price. Using U.S. index futures as an example, we can use 16:00 - 09:30 (EST) to capture the discrepancy between the previous day's close price and the current day's open price. However, this parameter is left as adjustable for users that may want to observe different markets or simply experiment with different time windows. Show Session Delineations will draw vertical timestamps denoting the start and end times of the provided Gap Session. Track Start Price serves as a visual aid to track the initial price of the Gap Session until its end price is validated, for easy visual verification of a gap's upper and lower bounds. With both options turned off, the indicator will only display the gap boxes and lines, as shown here: Extend Boxes will draw all gaps with an indefinite extension to the right. This can get messy with a large number of boxes, which is why we have a Keep Last parameter to limit how many sessions' drawings should be stored. Any drawings that were made beyond this number of sessions in the past will automatically be deleted. The Timeframe Limit will dictate that the indicator as a whole will only draw objects on timeframes less than or equal to this timeframe, determined by the user. In some cases this may help users avoid resolution errors which may arise from using timeframes that are too large for a given session. For example, if a user wanted to track a Gap Session of 16:15-09:30, the Timeframe Limit should be set to 15 minutes because the close price at 16:15 cannot be observed on a 30 minute chart (or greater).

Volume accumulation on past range [TCS] | VTAThe indicator calculates buy and sell volume values for different look-back periods based on the high, low, close, and tick volume data of the chart. The range can be selected by adding the end date and the look-back period, which starts from the end date. It can calculate a maximum of 100 candlesticks. The calculated buy and sell volume values are stored in separate variables, representing cumulative volume values over their respective look-back periods. It's important to note that the provided code calculates the buy and sell volume values individually for each look-back period and then sums them. This information can be useful in understanding who is in control of the market during the selected range. The 'heatmap' is particularly helpful in identifying areas of high or low trading activity, which can help define support and resistance levels. For example, if there is a greater accumulation of bullish volume than bearish volume and a break occurs in a resistance area, it may present a good entry opportunity. True Range MomentumThe indicator calculates the momentum of bullish and bearish based on the average true range and the highest highs and lowest lows of the historical price. The indicator displays the strength for either taking a long position, or a short position. The simplest way to use the indicator is to take a long position when the M+ line crosses above the 0 line. Similarly, to short, the M- line should cross above the 0 line. The exit would be when the respective line crosses below the 0 line. The contrarian traders should wait for the lines to start rising towards the 0 line and taking an exit. In essence, the line should be going from negative to 0. The greater the divergence between the M+ and M-, the stronger the trend. The small table of Long and Short suggests what is in strength. A 100 will show a strong trend in the respective direction. It will be 50-50 when there is no clear direction, ideally identifying a consolidation range.

But, this can be implemented in future versions ▶ At present only facilitates long positions. ▶ UI features such as plotting trades on chart are not available. ▶ Does not take into consideration of slippage and brokerage - this is not an issue because the framework is not meant for short term trades. vol_bracketThis simple script shows an "N" standard deviation volatility bracket, anchored at the opening price of the current month, week, or quarter. This anchor is meant to coincide roughly with the expiration of options issued at the same interval. You can choose between a manually-entered IV or the hv30 volatility model. Unlike my previous scripts, which all show the volatility bracket as a rolling figure, the anchor helps to visualize the volatility estimate in relation to price as it ranges over the (approximate) lifetime of a single, real contract.

Session Time RangesHave you ever wondered if you are trading at the right time of the day or feel like all the good trades happen when you are sleeping? Well now you can check your theory :) This Script allows you to highlight a time range on your chart over a 24hour time period. For example 3AM to 6AM The script has two time variables, set your start time and end time based on a 24 hour clock and set the time zone offset variable to match your charts time zone. For example New York -4 (for utc just enter 0 for no offset ) This is a quick script I put together so hopefully it is error free enjoy :)
