Post-Trade Analysis: On Nov expiry Nifty closed at 23914.15. The Short Strangle trade (23000 PE and 23850 CE) failed by 65 points as Nifty unexpectedly shot up approximately 1000 points due to the Maharashtra election outcome. The descending channel did not hold, leading to the position being invalidated before the November expiry.
