Why doesn TRX GitGub code contain Coinbase code?

Many rumors that TRX might be coming to Coinbase. Coinbase no longer interested as being JUST the gateway to altcoins. They want people to trade within GDAX, as well. Are they seeking cheaper coins to entice more investors to bring money into Coinbase. Seems like a few big things happening for tron in Q1 2018.
