Growing acceptance that the Federal Reserve (Fed) will start cutting interest rates in June keeps the US Dollar (USD) bulls on the defensive and turns out to be a key factor driving flows towards the non-yielding yellow metal. Apart from this, a generally softer tone, persistent geopolitical tensions and China's economic woes lend additional support to the safe-haven commodity.
