Intermarket Swing Projection [LuxAlgo]The Intermarket Swing Projection allows traders to plot price movement swings from any user-selected asset directly onto the chart in the form of zigzags and/or horizontal support and resistance levels.
This tool rescale the external asset price on the user chart, enabling traders to make direct comparisons.
It answers the question of how different the price behavior is between two assets, accounting for each asset's volatility.
🔶 USAGE
This tool is based on swing detection of two different assets: the chart and a user-selected asset. It allows traders to compare two assets on an equal footing while accounting for volatility and price behavior.
Traders can customize the detection by selecting a custom ticker, timeframe, the number of swings and length for swing detection. This makes the tool a Swiss army knife for asset comparison.
As we can see in the image below, the Show Last, Pivot Length, and Spread parameters are key to defining the final output of the tool.
"Show Last" defines how many pivots are displayed. "Pivot Length" is used for pivot detection; a larger value will detect larger market structures. "Spread" defines how far apart the horizontal levels will be from their original location in terms of volatility.
🔹 Comparing different assets
This image shows the Nasdaq 100 futures contract compared to four other futures contracts: S&P 500, gold, bitcoin, and euro/U.S. dollar.
Plotting all of these assets in Nasdaq 100 terms makes it easy to compare and analyze price behaviors and identify key levels.
In the top left chart, we have NQ vs. ES. It's no surprise that they are practically an exact match; a large portion of the S&P 500 is technology.
In the top right chart, NQ vs. GC, we see totally different behaviors. We can clearly see the summer consolidation in gold and the resumption of the uptrend, which took gold above 29,200 NQ points, up from 21,200.
In the bottom right chart, we see bitcoin making new highs, way above the Nasdaq in May, July, and October. However, the last high was way below the Nasdaq prices on October 27—the first lower high in a while. Sellers are pushing down.
Finally, the bottom left chart is NQ vs. 6E. We can see large volatility in the uptrend since February, with NQ unable to catch up until now. The last swing low was almost a match, and 6E is in a range.
As we can see, this tool allows us to perform intermarket analysis properly by accounting for each asset's volatility and price behavior. Then, we plot them on the same scale on equal terms, which makes performing this kind of analysis easy.
As we can see in the chart above, the assets are the same as in the previous image, but the timeframe is 1H with different settings.
Note the horizontal levels acting as support and resistance, as well as how NQ prices react to the zones marked with white circles. These levels are derived from custom assets selected by the user.
🔹 Displaying Elements
Zig-zag allows traders to clearly see the path that the selected asset's price took, as well as its turning points.
Horizontal levels are displayed from those turning points to the present and can be used as support or resistance. Traders can adjust the spread parameter in the settings panel to expand or contract those levels' volatility.
There are two color modes for the levels: average and pivots. In the first mode, green is used for levels below the average and red for levels above the average. The second uses green for swing lows and red for swing highs.
The backpaint feature is enabled by default and allows the swings to be displayed in the correct location. With this feature disabled, the swings will be displayed in the current location when a new swing is detected.
🔶 DETAILS
On a more technical note, the rescaling is formed by calculating three main elements from all the swings detected on the custom and chart assets:
The chart asset's average of all swing points
The chart asset's standard deviation of all swing points
The custom asset's z-score for each swing point
Then, the re-scaled swing point is calculated as the average plus the z-score multiplied by the standard deviation. This makes it possible to plot AAPL swings on an NQ chart, for example.
Thanks to re-scaling, we can directly compare the price behavior of two assets with different price ranges and volatility on the same chart.

Trailing stop activates after 1.0 ATR of profit
Trailing stop maintains 1.5 ATR distance behind highest profit point
Position sizing uses 2% of equity per trade (default)
No pyramiding (single position per direction)
Limitations and Considerations
The strategy requires sufficient historical data for higher timeframe structure analysis
Quality gate may filter out many potential trades, reducing trade frequency
Performance metrics are based on historical backtesting and do not guarantee future results
Commission and slippage assumptions (0.015% + 2 ticks) may vary by broker
The strategy is optimized for trending markets with clear structure breaks
Choppy or ranging markets may produce false signals
Crypto markets may require different parameter tuning than traditional assets
Optimization Notes
The strategy includes several parameters that can be tuned for different market conditions:
Quality Threshold : Lower values (0.50-0.60) allow more trades but may reduce average quality. Higher values (0.70+) are more selective but may miss opportunities.
Structure Timeframe : Use 240 (4H) for intraday trading, Daily for swing trading, Weekly for position trading
Volume Gate : Disable for low-liquidity pairs or when volume data is unreliable
Dual MACD Fusion : Disable for mean-reverting markets where single MACD may be more responsive
Trade Discipline : Adjust max trades and cooldown based on your risk tolerance and market volatility
Non-Repainting Guarantee
All higher timeframe data requests use lookahead=barmerge.lookahead_off to prevent repainting. Pivot detection waits for full confirmation before registering structure breaks. All visual elements (tables, labels) update only on closed bars.
Alerts
Three alert conditions are available:
ChronoPulse Long Setup : Fires when all long entry conditions are met
ChronoPulse Short Setup : Fires when all short entry conditions are met
ChronoPulse QA Certification : Fires when Quality Assurance console reaches CERTIFIED status
Configure alerts with "Once Per Bar Close" delivery to match the non-repainting design.
Visual Elements
Structure Labels : CHOCH↑, CHOCH↓, BOS↑, BOS↓ markers on structure breaks
Directional EMA : Orange line showing trend bias
Trailing Stop Lines : Green (long) and red (short) trailing stop levels
Dashboard Panel : Real-time status display (structure, MACD, ATR, quality, PnL)
QA Console : Quality assurance monitoring panel
Integrity Suite Panel : Optional validation status display
Recommended Usage
Forward test with paper trading before live deployment
Monitor the QA console until it reaches CERTIFIED status
Adjust parameters based on your specific market and timeframe
Respect the trade discipline limits to avoid over-trading
Review quality scores and adjust threshold if needed
Use appropriate commission and slippage settings for your broker
Technical Implementation
The strategy uses Pine Script v6 with the following key features:
Multi-timeframe data requests with lookahead protection
Confirmed pivot detection for structure analysis
Dynamic trailing stop management
Real-time quality score calculation
Trade budgeting and cooldown enforcement
Comprehensive dashboard and monitoring panels
All source code is open and available for review and modification.

FVG Maxing - Fair Value Gaps, Equilibrium, and Candle Patterns
What this script does
This open-source indicator highlights 3-candle fair value gaps (FVGs) on the active chart timeframe, draws their midpoint ("equilibrium") line, tracks when each gap is mitigated, and optionally marks simple candle patterns (engulfing and doji) for confluence. It is intended as an educational tool to study how price interacts with imbalances.
3-candle bullish and bearish FVG zones drawn as forward-extending boxes.
Equilibrium line at 50% of each gap.
Different styling for mitigated vs unmitigated gaps.
Compact statistics panel showing how many gaps are currently active and filled.
Optional overlays for bullish/bearish engulfing patterns and doji candles.
1. FVG logic (3-candle gaps)
The script focuses on a strict 3-candle definition of a fair value gap:
Three consecutive candles with the same body direction.
The wick of candle 3 is separated from the wick of candle 1 (no overlap).
A bullish gap is created when price moves up fast enough to leave a gap between candle 1 and 3. A bearish gap is the mirror case to the downside.
In Pine, the core detection looks like this:
// Three candles with the same body direction
bull_seq = close > open and close > open and close > open
bear_seq = close < open and close < open and close < open
// Wick gap between candle 1 and candle 3
bull_gap = bull_seq and low > high
bear_gap = bear_seq and high < low
// Final FVG flags
is_bull_fvg = bull_gap
is_bear_fvg = bear_gap
For each detected FVG:
Bullish FVG range: from high up to low (gap below current price).
Bearish FVG range: from low down to high (gap above current price).
Each zone is stored in a custom FVGData structure so it can be updated when price later trades back inside it.
2. Equilibrium line (0.5 of the gap)
Every FVG box gets an optional equilibrium line plotted at the midpoint between its top and bottom:
eq_level = (top + bottom) / 2.0
right_index = extend_boxes ? bar_index + extend_length_bars : bar_index
bx = box.new(bar_index - 2, top, right_index, bottom)
eq_ln = line.new(bar_index - 2, eq_level, right_index, eq_level)
line.set_style(eq_ln, line.style_dashed)
line.set_color(eq_ln, eq_color)
You can use this line as a neutral “fair value” reference inside the zone, or as a simple way to think in terms of premium/discount within each gap.
3. Mitigation rules and styling
Each FVG stays active until price trades back into the gap:
Bullish FVG is considered mitigated when the low touches or moves below the top of the gap.
Bearish FVG is considered mitigated when the high touches or moves above the bottom of the gap.
When that happens, the script:
Marks the internal FVGData entry as mitigated.
Softens the box fill and border colors.
Optionally updates the label text from "BULL EQ / BEAR EQ" to "BULL FILLED / BEAR FILLED".
Can hide mitigated zones almost completely if you only want to see unfilled imbalances.
This allows you to distinguish between current areas of interest and zones that have already been traded through.
4. Candle pattern overlays (engulfing and doji)
For additional confluence, the script can mark simple candle patterns on top of the FVG view:
Bullish engulfing — current candle body fully wraps the previous bearish body and is larger in size.
Bearish engulfing — current candle body fully wraps the previous bullish body and is larger in size.
Doji — candles where the real body is small relative to the full range (high–low).
The detection is based on basic body and range geometry:
curr_body = math.abs(close - open)
prev_body = math.abs(close - open )
curr_range = high - low
body_ratio = curr_range > 0 ? curr_body / curr_range : 1.0
bull_engulfing = close > open and close < open and open <= close and close >= open and curr_body > prev_body
bear_engulfing = close < open and close > open and open >= close and close <= open and curr_body > prev_body
is_doji = curr_range > 0 and body_ratio <= doji_body_ratio
On the chart, they appear as:
Small triangle markers below bullish engulfing candles.
Small triangle markers above bearish engulfing candles.
Small circles above doji candles.
All three overlays are optional and can be turned on or off and recolored in the CANDLE PATTERNS group of inputs.
5. Inputs overview
The script organizes settings into clear groups:
DISPLAY SETTINGS : Show bullish/bearish FVGs, show/hide mitigated zones, box extension length, box border width, and maximum number of boxes.
EQUILIBRIUM : Toggle equilibrium lines, color, and line width.
LABELS : Enable labels, choose whether to label unmitigated and/or mitigated zones, and select label size.
BULLISH COLORS / BEARISH COLORS : Separate fill and border colors for bullish and bearish gaps.
MITIGATED STYLE : Opacity used when a gap is marked as mitigated.
STATISTICS : Toggle the on-chart FVG statistics panel.
CANDLE PATTERNS : Show engulfing patterns, show dojis, colors, and the body-to-range threshold that defines a doji.
6. Statistics panel
An optional table in the corner of the chart summarizes the current state of all tracked gaps:
Total number of FVGs still being tracked.
Number of bullish vs bearish FVGs.
Number of unfilled vs mitigated FVGs.
Simple fill rate: percentage of tracked FVGs that have been marked as mitigated.
This can help you study how a particular market tends to treat gaps over time.
7. How you might use it (examples)
These are usage ideas only, not recommendations:
Study how often your symbol mitigates gaps and where inside the zone price tends to react.
Use higher-timeframe context and then refine entries near the equilibrium line on your trading timeframe.
Combine FVG zones with basic candle patterns (engulfing/doji) as an extra visual anchor, if that fits your process.
Hope you enjoy, give your feedback in the comments!

Trend Step Channel [BigBeluga]🔵 OVERVIEW
Trend Step Channel identifies directional bias by forming a dynamic volatility-based step channel. It detects trend shifts when candle lows close above the upper band (bullish) or when candle highs drop below the lower band (bearish). A step-style midline tracks the trend evolution, while an integrated dashboard shows price positioning percentages across multiple timeframes.
🔵 CONCEPTS
ATR-Based Channel — The indicator constructs upper and lower channel boundaries using ATR distance around a single adaptive trend line, providing automatic scaling with volatility.
Trend Direction Logic —
• Low above upper band → uptrend confirmation.
• High below lower band → downtrend confirmation.
Step Trend Line — A reactive midline that locks onto price swings, stepping upward or downward as new trend confirmations occur.
Channel Width — Defines the total volatility range around the midline; a wider channel smooths market noise, while a narrower one reacts faster.
Price Position Ratio — Calculates the relative position of the close within the channel, from 0% (bottom) to 100% (top).
🔵 FEATURES
Volatility-Adaptive Channel — Expands and contracts dynamically to match market volatility, maintaining consistent distance scaling.
Configurable MA Source — Choose from SMA, EMA, SMMA, WMA, or VWMA as the base smoothing method.
Color-Coded Step Line —
• Green indicates an uptrend.
• Orange indicates a downtrend.
Channel Fill Visualization — Semi-transparent fills highlight active volatility zones for clear trend identification.
Price Position Label — Displays a “<” marker and percentage at the channel edge showing how far the current close is from the lower or upper band.
Multi-Timeframe Dashboard —
• Displays alignment across 1H–5H charts.
• Each cell shows an arrow (↑ / ↓) with price % positioning.
• Cell background color reflects bullish or bearish bias.
Real-Time Updating — The channel, midline, and dashboard refresh dynamically every bar for continuous feedback.
🔵 HOW TO USE
Trend Confirmation —
• Bullish trend forms when candle low closes above the upper band.
• Bearish trend forms when candle high closes below the lower band.
Trend Continuation — Maintain bias while the step line color remains consistent.
Volatility Breakouts — Sudden candle breaks outside the band suggest new directional strength.
Dashboard Alignment — Confirm trend consistency across multiple timeframes before entering trades.
Entry Planning — In uptrends, consider entries near the lower band; in downtrends, focus on upper-band rejections.
Price Position Insight — Use the % label to judge whether price is extended (near 100%) or compressed (near 0%) within the channel.
🔵 CONCLUSION
Trend Step Channel delivers a precise, volatility-driven view of trend structure using ATR-based boundaries and a step-line framework. The integrated dashboard, color-coded channel, and live positioning metrics give traders a complete picture of market direction, trend strength, and price location within evolving conditions.

(QUANTLABS) Fractal God Mode: 25-Timeframe Scanner The indicator aggregates data into three distinct metric columns:
1. STRUCT (Market Structure) This analyzes price action relative to Fractal Pivots (Highs and Lows) to determine market direction.
HH (Breakout): Price has closed above the previous Pivot High. (Bullish Structure)
LL (Breakdown): Price has closed below the previous Pivot Low. (Bearish Structure)
TRAPPED: Price is trading between the last Pivot High and Low. This indicates a ranging market where trend trades should be avoided.
2. VELOCITY (Thrust) This measures the specific strength of the current candle on that timeframe.
The Math: It calculates the ratio of the body (Close - Open) relative to the total candle range (High - Low).
The Signal: High positive numbers (Green) indicate buyers are closing near highs. High negative numbers (Red) indicate sellers are dominating the range.
3. QUALITY (Efficiency Ratio) This acts as a "Noise Filter." It determines if the trend is moving in a straight line or whipping back and forth.
The Math: It divides the Net Price Movement (Distance from 5 bars ago) by the Total Path Traveled (Sum of the ranges of the last 5 bars).
PRISTINE (Values > 0.6): The market is moving efficiently in one direction.
CHOPPY (Values < 0.4): The market is volatile and non-directional (High Noise).
1. The Matrix (Dashboard) Located in the bottom right, this table gives you an instant read on Short-Term (3m-9m), Medium-Term (10m-45m), and Long-Term (1H-Daily) trends.
2. Coherence Flow At the bottom of the table, the script sums up the structural score of all 25 timeframes.
COHERENT BULL: When the Short, Medium, and Long terms align green.
COHERENT BEAR: When the Short, Medium, and Long terms align red.
3. God Mode (Global S/R) The indicator can plot Support and Resistance levels from higher timeframes onto your current chart. For example, while trading the 5m chart, you can see the 4H and Daily pivot levels plotted automatically as dotted lines, ensuring you never trade blindly into a higher-timeframe wall.
Trend Following: Wait for the "Coherent Bull/Bear" signal at the bottom of the dashboard. This confirms that momentum is aligned from the 3m chart up to the Daily.
Scalping: Focus on the Quality column. Only take trades when the Quality is "CLEAN" or "PRISTINE." Avoid entries when the dashboard warns of "High Noise" (Choppy).
Risk Management: If the dashboard shows "TRAPPED" on the Long Term (1H+), reduce position size or wait for a breakout.
Pivot Lookback: Adjusts the sensitivity of the Fractal Structure (Default: 5).
Show Fractal DNA Matrix: Toggles the dashboard table.
Show ALL Timeframe S/R: Enables "God Mode" to see supports/resistances from all 25 timeframes (Heavy visual processing, use carefully).

Aarika MultiTimeFrame (AMTF)Hello Traders,
In this indicator, we're using MTF concept. I have kept the same MA type (you have option to choose type like EMA, SMA, HMA, etc from dropdown list) for both the MA length (choose your both lengths wisely to get the maximum output).
You must backtest different lengths, timeframe and MA type that suits your trading style. Given here is the default settings which i think works excellent on BTC. But again i'm not a financial advisor so please check-back and look for this indicator as a trend finder. Trade only if you have sufficiently backtested, watched their live moves and if suits your trading style!
✅ Pros of MTF (Why Traders Use It)
1. Trend clarity: The higher timeframe filters out noise and shows the real direction of the market.
2. Reduced false signals: Lower timeframe indicators often give too many signals.
MTF keeps you trading only in the higher timeframe direction.
3. Better entries: You can align HTF trend, LTF trigger, This results in higher-quality trades.
4. Helps avoid chop: Markets are usually messy on lower charts. HTF trends cut through the noise.
5. Works across all markets: Crypto, forex, stocks — MTF improves signal reliability everywhere.
❌ Cons of MTF (What You Must Be Aware of)
1. Signals come late: Since HTF candles take longer to form, signals may lag.
2. Fewer trade opportunities: Filtering signals reduces frequency. High accuracy but lower quantity.
3. Beginners may find multi-timeframe correlation harder to learn.
4. Wrong TF combinations may give bad results: Not all timeframe pairs work well.
Example: 1D + 5m is too far apart; the trend becomes irrelevant.
Happy trading!

BETradez HTF Order Blocks BETradez HTF Order Blocks identifies and displays order blocks from higher timeframes on your chart. It detects Break of Structure (BOS) events, when price breaks above the highest high or below the lowest low—then scans back up to 200 bars to find the last opposing candle, which becomes the order block zone. The indicator displays up to 5 active order blocks per side (bullish in green, bearish in red), automatically extends them forward in time, and can hide invalidated blocks when price violates them. You can customize the timeframe (use chart or a custom higher timeframe), adjust forward extension, show optional wick lines and center lines, and control label text size. Order blocks often act as support/resistance zones where institutional activity occurred, making them useful for identifying potential entry areas, support/resistance levels, and risk management points in multi-timeframe analysis.
HTF Candle overlayOverview
This Pine Script indicator overlays three separate Mini Charts onto the right side of your main chart area. These mini charts display price action from Higher Timeframes (HTF), allowing traders to monitor multi-timeframe market structure and trends without switching screens. Each mini chart is overlaid with up to 5 customizable EMA (Exponential Moving Average) Clouds.
Key Features
1. Three Independent Mini Charts
Users can select three distinct higher timeframes (e.g., 1 Hour, 4 Hours, 1 Day).
The script automatically checks to ensure the selected timeframe is higher than the current chart's timeframe.
Displays up to 10 historical candles per mini chart (limited to optimize Pine Script drawing resources).
2. Smart Data Handling (RTH vs. ETH)
Daily, Weekly, Monthly: For timeframes of 1 Day or higher, the script forces Regular Trading Hours (RTH) data. This ensures daily candles look standard and aren't distorted by pre/post-market low volume ticks.
Intraday (e.g., 1H, 4H): For timeframes below 1 Day, the script uses Extended Trading Hours (ETH) data, ensuring you see the full picture of pre-market and after-hours moves.
Ticker Cleaning: The script automatically sanitizes ticker IDs to prevent "Symbol Resolve Errors" when used on charts with complex session settings.
3. Comprehensive EMA Clouds
5 Customizable Clouds: Each mini chart can display up to 5 different EMA Clouds (pairs of Short and Long Moving Averages).
Full Color Control: Users can individually customize:
Line Colors: Distinct colors for Short and Long EMA lines.
Cloud Fill: Distinct colors and transparency for Bullish and Bearish trends.
Toggle Visibility: Each of the 5 clouds can be turned On or Off via settings.
Source Selection: Users can calculate EMAs based on Close, Open, High, Low, HL2, HLC3, or OHLC4.
4. Custom Visuals & Positioning
Candle Aesthetics: Users can define Bull/Bear candle colors, transparency, and Candle Width (thickness).
Positioning:
Horizontal Offset: Shift the entire dashboard left or right to avoid overlapping with current price action.
Spacing: Adjust the gap between the three mini charts.
Assistance Lines: Optional Support/Resistance lines (Fibonacci or Range High/Low) can be drawn extending from the mini charts.
How it Works (Technical Summary)
The script utilizes request.security to fetch OHLC data and Moving Average data from the specified higher timeframes. It stores this data in Matrices and Arrays to manage history. It then uses Pine Script's line.new and label.new functions to manually draw the candles and EMA lines onto the main chart canvas, relative to the current bar_index. It includes logic to handle dynamic array resizing and garbage collection to stay within Pine Script's execution limits.

Note: All duration estimates are statistical calculations based on historical data, not guarantees of future performance.
WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT
Unlike traditional SuperTrend indicators that only tell you trend direction, this system answers the critical question: "What is the typical duration for trends like this?"
The Statistical Analysis Engine:
• Analyzes your chart's last 15+ completed SuperTrend trends (bullish and bearish separately)
• Uses k-nearest neighbors similarity matching to find historically similar setups
• Calculates statistical duration estimates based on current market conditions
• Learns from estimation errors and adapts over time (Advanced mode)
• Displays visual duration analysis box showing median, average, and range estimates
• Tracks Statistical accuracy with backtest statistics
Complete Trading System:
• Statistical trend duration analysis with three intelligence levels
• Adaptive Supertrend with dynamic ATR-based bands
• Multi-timeframe confluence analysis (6 timeframes: 5M to 1W)
• Volume confirmation with spike detection and momentum tracking
• Quality scoring system (0-70 points) rating each setup
• One-click preset optimization for all trading styles
• Anti-repaint guarantee on all signals and duration estimates
METHODOLOGY CREDITS
This indicator's approach is inspired by proven trading methodologies from respected market educators:
• Mark Minervini - Volatility Contraction Pattern (VCP) and pullback entry techniques

KEY FEATURES
1. TREND DURATION ANALYSIS SYSTEM - The Core Innovation
The statistical analysis engine is what sets this indicator apart from standard SuperTrend systems. It doesn't just identify trend changes - it provides statistical analysis of potential duration.
How It Works:
Step 1: Historical Tracking
• Automatically records every completed SuperTrend trend (duration in bars)
• Maintains separate databases for bullish trends and bearish trends
• Stores up to 15 most recent trends of each type
• Captures market conditions at each trend flip: volume ratio, ATR ratio, quality score, price distance from SuperTrend, proximity to support/resistance
Step 2: Similarity Matching (k-Nearest Neighbors)
• When new trend begins, system compares current conditions to ALL historical flips
• Calculates similarity score based on:
- Volume similarity (30% weight) - Is volume behaving similarly?
- Volatility similarity (30% weight) - Is ATR/volatility similar?
- Quality similarity (20% weight) - Is setup strength comparable?
- Distance similarity (10% weight) - Is price distance from ST similar?
- Support/Resistance proximity (10% weight) - Similar structural context?
• Selects the 15 MOST SIMILAR historical trends (not just all trends)
• This is like asking: "When conditions looked like this before, how long did trends last?"
Step 3: Statistical Analysis
• Calculates median duration (most common outcome)
• Calculates average duration (mean of similar trends)
• Determines realistic range (min to max of similar trends)
• Applies exponential weighting (recent trends weighted more heavily)
• Outputs confidence-weighted statistical estimate
Step 4: Advanced Intelligence (Advanced Mode Only)
The Advanced mode applies five sophisticated multipliers to refine estimates:
A) Market Structure Multiplier (±30%):
• Detects nearby support/resistance levels using pivot detection
• If flip occurs NEAR a key level: Estimate adjusted -30% (expect bounce/rejection)
• If flip occurs in open space: Estimate adjusted +30% (clear path for continuation)
• Uses configurable lookback period and ATR-based proximity threshold
B) Asset Type Multiplier (±40%):
• Adjusts duration estimates based on asset volatility characteristics
• Small Cap / Biotech: +40% (explosive, extended moves)
• Tech Growth: +20% (momentum-driven, longer trends)
• Blue Chip / Large Cap: 0% (baseline, steady trends)
• Dividend / Value: -20% (slower, grinding trends)
• Cyclical: Variable based on macro regime
• Crypto / High Volatility: +30% (parabolic potential)
C) Flip Strength Multiplier (±20%):
• Analyzes the QUALITY of the trend flip itself
• Strong flip (high volume + expanding ATR + quality score 60+): +20%
• Weak flip (low volume + contracting ATR + quality score under 40): -20%
• Logic: Historical data shows that powerful flips tend to be followed by longer trends
D) Error Learning Multiplier (±15%):
• Tracks Statistical accuracy over last 10 completed trends
• Calculates error ratio: (estimated duration / Actual Duration)
• If system consistently over-estimates: Apply -15% correction
• If system consistently under-estimates: Apply +15% correction
• Learns and adapts to current market regime
E) Regime Detection Multiplier (±20%):
• Analyzes last 3 trends of SAME TYPE (bull-to-bull or bear-to-bear)
• Compares recent trend durations to historical average
• If recent trends 20%+ longer than average: +20% adjustment (trending regime detected)
• If recent trends 20%+ shorter than average: -20% adjustment (choppy regime detected)
• Detects whether market is in trending or mean-reversion mode
Three analysis modes:
SIMPLE MODE - Basic Statistics
• Uses raw median of similar trends only
• No multipliers, no adjustments
• Best for: Beginners, clean trending markets
• Fastest calculations, minimal complexity
STANDARD MODE - Full Statistical Analysis
• Similarity matching with k-nearest neighbors
• Exponential weighting of recent trends
• Median, average, and range calculations
• Best for: Most traders, general market conditions
• Balance of accuracy and simplicity
ADVANCED MODE - Statistics + Intelligence
• Everything in Standard mode PLUS
• All 5 advanced multipliers (structure, asset type, flip strength, learning, regime)
• Highest Statistical accuracy in testing
• Best for: Experienced traders, volatile/complex markets
• Maximum intelligence, most adaptive
Visual Duration Analysis Box:
When a new trend begins (SuperTrend flip), a box appears on your chart showing:
• Analysis Mode (Simple / Standard / Advanced)
• Number of historical trends analyzed
• Median expected duration (most likely outcome)
• Average expected duration (mean of similar trends)
• Range (minimum to maximum from similar trends)
• Advanced multipliers breakdown (Advanced mode only)
• Backtest accuracy statistics (if available)
The box extends from the flip bar to the estimated endpoint based on historical data, giving you a visual target for trend duration. Box updates in real-time as trend progresses.
Backtest & Accuracy Tracking:
• System backtests its own duration estimates using historical data
• Shows accuracy metrics: how well duration estimates matched actual durations
• Tracks last 10 completed duration estimates separately
• Displays statistics in dashboard and duration analysis boxes
• Helps you understand statistical reliability on your specific symbol/timeframe
Anti-Repaint Guarantee:
• duration analysis boxes only appear AFTER bar close (barstate.isconfirmed)
• Historical duration estimates never disappear or change
• What you see in history is exactly what you would have seen real-time
• No future data leakage, no lookahead bias

Every signal is rated in real-time across three dimensions:
Volume Confirmation (0-30 points):
• Volume Spike (2.5x+ average): 30 points
• High Volume (1.5x+ average): 20 points
• Above Average (1.0x+ average): 10 points
• Below Average: 0 points
Volatility Assessment (0-30 points):
• Expanding ATR (1.2x+ average): 30 points
• Rising ATR (1.0-1.2x average): 15 points
• Contracting/Stable ATR: 0 points
Volume Momentum (0-10 points):
• Strong Momentum (1.2x+ ratio): 10 points
• Rising Momentum (1.0-1.2x ratio): 5 points
• Weak/Neutral Momentum: 0 points
Score Interpretation:
60-70 points - EXCELLENT:
• All factors aligned
• High conviction setup
• Maximum position size (within risk limits)
• Primary trading opportunities
45-59 points - STRONG:
• Multiple confirmations present
• Above-average setup quality
• Standard position size
• Good trading opportunities
30-44 points - GOOD:
• Basic confirmations met
• Acceptable setup quality
• Reduced position size
• Wait for additional confirmation or trade smaller
Below 30 points - WEAK:
• Minimal confirmations
• Low probability setup
• Consider passing
• Only for aggressive traders in strong trends
Only signals meeting your minimum quality threshold (configurable per preset) generate alerts and labels.
4. MULTI-TIMEFRAME CONFLUENCE ANALYSIS
The system can simultaneously analyze trend alignment across 6 timeframes (optional feature):
Timeframes analyzed:
• 5-minute (scalping context)
• 15-minute (intraday momentum)
• 1-hour (day trading bias)
• 4-hour (swing context)
• Daily (primary trend)
• Weekly (macro trend)
Confluence Interpretation:
• 5-6/6 aligned - Very strong multi-timeframe agreement (highest confidence)
• 3-4/6 aligned - Moderate agreement (standard setup)
• 1-2/6 aligned - Weak agreement (caution advised)
Dashboard shows real-time alignment count with color-coding. Higher confluence typically correlates with longer, stronger trends.
5. VOLUME MOMENTUM FILTER - Institutional Money Flow
Unlike traditional volume indicators that just measure size, Volume Momentum tracks the RATE OF CHANGE in volume:
How it works:
• Compares short-term volume average (fast period) to long-term average (slow period)
• Ratio above 1.0 = Volume accelerating (money flowing IN)
• Ratio above 1.2 = Strong acceleration (institutional participation likely)
• Ratio below 0.8 = Volume decelerating (money flowing OUT)
Why it matters:
• Confirms trend with actual money flow, not just price
• Leading indicator (volume often leads price)
• Catches accumulation/distribution before breakouts
• More intuitive than complex mathematical filters
Integration with signals:
• Optional filter - can be enabled/disabled per preset
• When enabled: Only signals with rising volume momentum fire
• AUTO-DISABLED in Scalping mode (too restrictive for fast trading)
• Configurable fast/slow periods per trading style
6. ADAPTIVE SUPERTREND MULTIPLIER
Traditional SuperTrend uses fixed ATR multiplier. This system dynamically adjusts the multiplier (0.8x to 1.2x base) based on:
• Trend Strength: Price correlation over lookback period
• Volume Weight: Current volume relative to average
Benefits:
• Tighter bands in calm markets (less premature exits)
• Wider bands in volatile conditions (avoids whipsaws)
• Better adaptation to biotech, small-cap, and crypto volatility
• Optional - can be disabled for classic constant multiplier
7. VISUAL GRADIENT RIBBON
26-layer exponential gradient fill between price and SuperTrend line provides instant visual trend strength assessment:
Color System:
• Green shades - Bullish trend + volume confirmation (strongest)
• Blue shades - Bullish trend, normal volume
• Orange shades - Bearish trend + volume confirmation
• Red shades - Bearish trend (weakest)
Opacity varies based on:
• Distance from SuperTrend (farther = more opaque)
• Volume intensity (higher volume = stronger color)
The ribbon provides at-a-glance trend strength without cluttering your chart. Can be toggled on/off.
8. INTELLIGENT ALERT SYSTEM
Two-tier alert architecture for flexibility:
Automatic Alerts:
• Fire automatically on BUY and SELL signals
• Include full context: quality score, volume state, volume momentum
• One alert per bar close (alert.freq_once_per_bar_close)
• Message format: "BUY: Supertrend bullish + Quality: 65/70 | Volume: HIGH | Vol Momentum: STRONG (1.35x)"
Customizable Alert Conditions:
• Appear in TradingView's "Create Alert" dialog
• Three options: BUY Signal Only, SELL Signal Only, ANY Signal (BUY or SELL)
• Use TradingView placeholders: {{ticker}}, {{interval}}, {{close}}, {{time}}
• Fully customizable message templates
All alerts use barstate.isconfirmed - Zero repaint guarantee.
9. ANTI-REPAINT ARCHITECTURE
Every component guaranteed non-repainting:
• Entry signals: Only appear after bar close
• duration analysis boxes: Created only on confirmed SuperTrend flips
• Informative labels: Wait for bar confirmation
• Alerts: Fire once per closed bar
• Multi-timeframe data: Uses lookahead=barmerge.lookahead_off
What you see in history is exactly what you would have seen in real-time. No disappearing signals, no changed duration estimates.

• Aggressive: Aim for MAX duration from range (best historical outcome)
Position Management:
• Scale out at median duration (take partial profits)
• Trail stop as trend extends beyond median
• Full exit at average duration or SuperTrend flip (whichever comes first)
• Re-evaluate if trend exceeds estimated range
analysis mode Selection:
• Simple: Clean trending markets, beginners, minimal complexity
• Standard: Most markets, most traders (recommended default)
• Advanced: Volatile markets, complex instruments, experienced traders seeking highest accuracy
Asset Type Configuration (Advanced Mode):
If using Advanced analysis mode, configure Asset Type for optimal accuracy:
• Small Cap: Stocks under $2B market cap, low liquidity
• Biotech / Speculative: Clinical-stage pharma, penny stocks, high-risk
• Blue Chip / Large Cap: S&P 500, mega-cap tech, stable large companies
• Tech Growth: High-growth tech (TSLA, NVDA, growth SaaS)
• Dividend / Value: Dividend aristocrats, value stocks, utilities
• Cyclical: Energy, materials, industrials (macro-driven)
• Crypto / High Volatility: Bitcoin, altcoins, highly volatile assets
Correct asset type selection improves Statistical accuracy by 15-20%.
RISK MANAGEMENT GUIDELINES:
1. Stop Loss Placement:
Long positions:
• Place stop below recent swing low OR
• Place stop below SuperTrend level (whichever is tighter)
• Use 1-2 ATR distance as guideline
• Recommended: SuperTrend level (built-in volatility adjustment)
Short positions:
• Place stop above recent swing high OR
• Place stop above SuperTrend level (whichever is tighter)
• Use 1-2 ATR distance as guideline
• Recommended: SuperTrend level
2. Position Sizing by Quality Score:
• Excellent (60-70): Maximum position size (2% risk per trade)
• Strong (45-59): Standard position size (1.5% risk per trade)

ADVANCED FEATURES
1. Scalpel Mode (Optional)
Advanced pullback entry system that waits for healthy retracements within established trends before signaling entry:
• Monitors price distance from SuperTrend levels
• Requires pullback to configurable range (default: 30-50%)
• Ensures trend remains intact before entry signal
• Reduces whipsaw and false breakouts
• Inspired by Mark Minervini's VCP pullback entries
Best for: Swing traders and day traders seeking precision entries
Scalpers: Consider disabling for faster entries
2. Error Learning System (Advanced analysis mode Only)
The system learns from its own estimation errors:
• Tracks last 10-20 completed duration estimates (configurable memory depth)
• Calculates error ratio for each: estimated duration / Actual Duration
• If system consistently over-estimates: Applies negative correction (-15%)
• If system consistently under-estimates: Applies positive correction (+15%)
• Adapts to current market regime automatically
This self-correction mechanism improves accuracy over time as the system gathers more data on your specific symbol and timeframe.
3. Regime Detection (Advanced analysis mode Only)
Automatically detects whether market is in trending or choppy regime:
• Compares last 3 trends to historical average
• Recent trends 20%+ longer → Trending regime (+20% to estimates)
• Recent trends 20%+ shorter → Choppy regime (-20% to estimates)
• Applied separately to bullish and bearish trends
Helps duration estimates adapt to changing market conditions without manual intervention.
4. Exponential Weighting
Option to weight recent trends more heavily than distant history:
• Default decay factor: 0.9
• Recent trends get higher weight in statistical calculations
• Older trends gradually decay in importance
• Rationale: Recent market behavior more relevant than old data
• Can be disabled for equal weighting
5. Backtest Statistics
System backtests its own duration estimates using historical data:
• Walks through past trends chronologically
• Calculates what duration estimate WOULD have been at each flip
• Compares to actual duration that occurred
• Displays accuracy metrics in duration analysis boxes and dashboard
• Helps assess statistical reliability on your specific chart
Note: Backtest uses only data available AT THE TIME of each historical flip (no lookahead bias).

KNOWN LIMITATIONS
• Trending Markets Only: Performs best in clear trends. May generate false signals in choppy/sideways markets (use quality score filtering and regime detection to mitigate)
• Lagging Nature: Like all trend-following systems, signals occur AFTER trend establishment, not at exact tops/bottoms. Use duration analysis boxes to set realistic profit targets.
• Initial Learning Period: Duration analysis system requires 10-15 completed trends to build reliable historical database. Early duration estimates less accurate (first few weeks on new symbol/timeframe).
• Visual Load: 26-layer gradient ribbon may slow performance on older devices. Disable ribbon if experiencing lag.
• Statistical accuracy Variables: Duration estimates are statistical estimates, not guarantees. Accuracy varies by:
- Market regime (trending vs choppy)
- Asset volatility characteristics
- Quality of historical pattern matches
- Timeframe traded (higher TF = more reliable)
• Not Best Suitable For:
- Ultra-short-term scalping (sub-1-minute charts)
- Mean-reversion strategies (designed for trend-following)
- Range-bound trading (requires trending conditions)
- News-driven spikes (estimates based on technical patterns, not fundamentals)
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: Does this indicator repaint?
A: Absolutely not. All signals, duration analysis boxes, labels, and alerts use barstate.isconfirmed checks. They only appear after the bar closes. What you see in history is exactly what you would have seen in real-time. Zero repaint guarantee.
Q: How accurate are the trend duration estimates?
A: Accuracy varies by mode, market conditions, and historical data quality:
• Simple mode: 60-70% accuracy (within ±20% of actual duration)
• Standard mode: 70-80% accuracy (within ±20% of actual duration)
• Advanced mode: 75-85% accuracy (within ±20% of actual duration)
Best accuracy achieved on:
• Higher timeframes (4H, Daily, Weekly)
• Trending markets (not choppy/sideways)
• Assets with consistent behavior (Blue Chip, Large Cap)
• After 20+ historical trends analyzed (builds robust database)
Remember: All duration estimates are statistical calculations based on historical patterns, not guarantees.
Q: Which analysis mode should I use?
A:
• Simple: Beginners, clean trending markets, want minimal complexity
• Standard: Most traders, general market conditions (RECOMMENDED DEFAULT)
• Advanced: Experienced traders, volatile/complex markets (biotech, small-cap, crypto), seeking maximum accuracy
Advanced mode requires correct Asset Type configuration for optimal results.
Q: What's the difference between the trading style presets?
A: Each preset optimizes ALL parameters for a specific trading approach:
• Scalping: Ultra-sensitive (ATR 7, Mult 2.0), more signals, shorter holds
• Day Trading: Balanced (ATR 10, Mult 2.5), moderate signals, intraday holds
• Swing Trading: Stable (ATR 14, Mult 3.0), fewer signals, multi-day holds
• Position Trading: Very stable (ATR 21, Mult 4.0), rare signals, week/month holds
Auto mode automatically selects based on your chart timeframe.
Q: Should I use Auto mode or manually select a preset?
A: Auto mode is recommended for most traders. It automatically matches settings to your timeframe and re-optimizes if you switch charts. Only use manual preset selection if:
• You want scalping settings on a 15m chart (overriding auto-detection)
• You want swing settings on a 1h chart (more conservative than auto would give)
• You're testing different approaches on same timeframe
Q: Can I use this for scalping and day trading?
A: Absolutely! The preset system is specifically designed for all trading styles:
• Select "Scalping (1-5m)" for 1-5 minute charts
• Select "Day Trading (15m-1h)" for 15m-1h charts
• Or use "Auto" mode and it configures automatically
Volume momentum filter is auto-disabled in Scalping mode for faster signals.
Q: What is Volume Momentum and why does it matter?
A: Volume Momentum compares short-term volume (fast MA) to long-term volume (slow MA). It answers: "Is money flowing into this asset faster now than historically?"
Why it matters:
• Volume often leads price (early warning system)
• Confirms institutional participation (smart money)
• No lag like price-based indicators
• More intuitive than complex mathematical filters
When the ratio is above 1.2, you have strong evidence that institutions are accumulating (bullish) or distributing (bearish).
Q: How do I set up alerts?
A: Two options:
Option 1 - Automatic Alerts:
1. Right-click on chart → Add Alert
2. Condition: Select this indicator
3. Choose "Any alert() function call"
4. Configure notification method (app, email, webhook)
5. You'll receive detailed alerts on every BUY and SELL signal
Option 2 - Customizable Alert Conditions:
1. Right-click on chart → Add Alert
2. Condition: Select this indicator
3. You'll see three options in dropdown:
- "BUY Signal" (long signals only)
- "SELL Signal" (short signals only)
- "ANY Signal" (both BUY and SELL)
4. Choose desired option and customize message template
5. Uses TradingView placeholders: {{ticker}}, {{close}}, {{time}}, etc.
All alerts fire only on confirmed bar close (no repaint).
Q: What is Scalpel Mode and should I use it?
A: Scalpel Mode waits for healthy pullbacks within established trends before signaling entry. It reduces whipsaws and improves entry timing.
Recommended ON for:
• Swing traders (want precision entries on pullbacks)
• Day traders (willing to wait for better prices)
• Risk-averse traders (prefer fewer but higher-quality entries)
Recommended OFF for:
• Scalpers (need immediate entries, can't wait for pullbacks)
• Momentum traders (want to enter on breakout, not pullback)
• Aggressive traders (prefer more opportunities over precision)
Q: Why do some duration estimates show wider ranges than others?
A: Range width reflects historical trend variability:
• Narrow range: Similar historical trends had consistent durations (high confidence)
• Wide range: Similar historical trends had varying durations (lower confidence)
Wide ranges often occur:
• Early in analysis (fewer historical trends to learn from)
• In volatile/choppy markets (inconsistent trend behavior)
• On lower timeframes (more noise, less consistency)
The median and average still provide useful targets even when range is wide.
Q: Can I customize the dashboard position and appearance?
A: Yes! Dashboard settings include:
• Position: 9 options (Top/Middle/Bottom + Left/Center/Right)
• Text Size: Auto, Tiny, Small, Normal, Large, Huge
• Show/Hide: Toggle entire dashboard on/off
Choose position that doesn't overlap important price action on your specific chart.
Q: Which timeframe should I trade on?
A: Depends on your trading style and time availability:
• 1-5 minute: Active scalping, requires constant monitoring
• 15m-1h: Day trading, check few times per session
• 4h-Daily: Swing trading, check once or twice daily
• Daily-Weekly: Position trading, check weekly
General principle: Higher timeframes produce:
• Fewer signals (less frequent)
• Higher quality setups (stronger confirmations)
• More reliable duration estimates (better statistical data)
• Less noise (clearer trends)
Start with Daily chart if new to trading. Move to lower timeframes as you gain experience.
Q: Does this work on all markets (stocks, crypto, forex)?
A: Yes, it works on all markets with trending characteristics:
Excellent for:
• Stocks (especially growth and momentum names)
• Crypto (BTC, ETH, major altcoins)
• Futures (indices, commodities)
• Forex majors (EUR/USD, GBP/USD, etc.)
Best results on:
• Trending markets (not range-bound)
• Liquid instruments (tight spreads, good fills)
• Volatile assets (clear trend development)
Less effective on:
• Range-bound/sideways markets
• Ultra-low volatility instruments
• Illiquid small-caps (use caution)
Configure Asset Type (in Advanced analysis mode) to match your instrument for best accuracy.
Q: How many signals should I expect per day/week?
A: Highly variable based on:
By Timeframe:
• 1-5 minute: 5-15 signals per session
• 15m-1h: 2-5 signals per day
• 4h-Daily: 2-5 signals per week
• Daily-Weekly: 1-2 signals per month
By Market Volatility:
• High volatility = more SuperTrend flips = more signals
• Low volatility = fewer flips = fewer signals
By Quality Filter:
• Higher threshold (60-70) = fewer but better signals
• Lower threshold (30-40) = more signals, lower quality
By Volume Momentum Filter:
• Enabled = Fewer signals (only volume-confirmed)
• Disabled = More signals (all SuperTrend flips)
Adjust quality threshold and filters to match your desired signal frequency.
Q: What's the difference between entry labels and info labels?
A:
Entry Labels (BUY/SELL):
• Your primary trading signals
• Based on SuperTrend flip + all confirmations (quality, volume, momentum)
• Include quality score and confirmation icons
• These are actionable entry points
Info Labels (Volume Spike):
• Additional market context
• Show volume events that may support or contradict trend
• 8-bar cooldown to prevent spam
• NOT necessarily entry points - contextual information only
Control separately: Can show entry labels without info labels (recommended for clean charts).
Q: Can I combine this with other indicators?
A: Absolutely! This works well with:
• RSI: For divergences and overbought/oversold conditions
• Support/Resistance: Confluence with key levels
• Fibonacci Retracements: Pullback targets in Scalpel Mode
• Price Action Patterns: Flags, pennants, cup-and-handle
• MACD: Additional momentum confirmation
• Bollinger Bands: Volatility context
This indicator provides trend direction and duration estimates - complement with other tools for entry refinement and additional confluence.
Q: Why did I get a low-quality signal? Can I filter them out?
A: Yes! Increase the Minimum Quality Score in settings.
If you're seeing signals with quality below your preference:
• Day Trading: Set minimum to 50
• Swing Trading: Set minimum to 60
• Position Trading: Set minimum to 70
Only signals meeting the threshold will appear. This reduces frequency but improves win-rate.
Q: How do I interpret the MTF Confluence count?
A: Shows how many of 6 timeframes agree with current trend:
• 6/6 aligned: Perfect agreement (extremely rare, highest confidence)
• 5/6 aligned: Very strong alignment (high confidence)
• 4/6 aligned: Good alignment (standard quality setup)
• 3/6 aligned: Moderate alignment (acceptable)
• 2/6 aligned: Weak alignment (caution)
• 1/6 aligned: Very weak (likely counter-trend)
Higher confluence typically correlates with longer, stronger trends. However, MTF analysis is optional - you can disable it and rely solely on quality scoring.
Q: Is this suitable for beginners?
A: Yes, but requires foundational knowledge:
You should understand:
• Basic trend-following concepts (higher highs, higher lows)
• Risk management principles (position sizing, stop losses)
• How to read candlestick charts
• What volume and volatility mean
Beginner-friendly features:
• Auto preset mode (zero configuration)
• Quality scoring (tells you signal strength)
• Dashboard tooltips (hover for explanations)
• duration analysis boxes (visual profit targets)
Recommended for beginners:
1. Start with "Auto" or "Swing Trading" preset on Daily chart
2. Use Standard Analysis Mode (not Advanced)
3. Set minimum quality to 60 (fewer but better signals)
4. Paper trade first for 2-4 weeks
5. Study methodology references (Minervini, O'Neil, Zanger)
Q: What is the Asset Type setting and why does it matter?
A: Asset Type (in Advanced analysis mode) adjusts duration estimates based on volatility characteristics:
• Small Cap: Explosive moves, extended trends (+30-40%)
• Biotech / Speculative: Parabolic potential, news-driven (+40%)
• Blue Chip / Large Cap: Baseline, steady trends (0% adjustment)
• Tech Growth: Momentum-driven, longer trends (+20%)
• Dividend / Value: Slower, grinding trends (-20%)
• Cyclical: Macro-driven, variable (±10%)
• Crypto / High Volatility: Parabolic potential (+30%)
Correct configuration improves Statistical accuracy by 15-20%. Using Blue Chip settings on a biotech stock may underestimate trend length (you'll exit too early).
Q: Can I backtest this indicator?
A: Yes! TradingView's Strategy Tester works with this indicator's signals.
To backtest:
1. Note the entry conditions (SuperTrend flip + quality threshold + filters)
2. Create a strategy script using same logic
3. Run Strategy Tester on historical data
Additionally, the indicator includes BUILT-IN duration estimate validation:
• System backtests its own duration estimates
• Shows accuracy metrics in dashboard and duration analysis boxes
• Helps assess reliability on your specific symbol/timeframe
Q: Why does Volume Momentum auto-disable in Scalping mode?
A: Scalping requires ultra-fast entries to catch quick moves. Volume Momentum filter adds friction by requiring volume confirmation before signaling, which can cause missed opportunities in rapid scalping.
Scalping preset is optimized for speed and frequency - the filter is counterproductive for that style. It remains enabled for Day Trading, Swing Trading, and Position Trading presets where patience improves results.
You can manually enable it in Custom mode if desired.
Q: How much historical data do I need for accurate duration estimates?
A:
Minimum: 50-100 bars (indicator will function but duration estimates less reliable)
Recommended: 500+ bars (robust statistical database)
Optimal: 1000+ bars (maximum Statistical accuracy)
More history = more completed trends = better pattern matching = more accurate duration estimates.
New symbols or newly-switched timeframes will have lower Statistical accuracy initially. Allow 2-4 weeks for the system to build historical database.

Fib and Slope Trend Detector [EWT] + MTF Dashboard🚀 Overview
The Momentum Structure Trend Detector is a sophisticated trend-following tool that combines Price Velocity (Slope) with Market Structure (Fibonacci) to identify high-probability trend reversals and continuations.
Unlike traditional indicators that rely heavily on lagging moving averages, this script analyzes the speed of price action in real-time. It operates on the core principle of market structure: Impulse moves are fast and steep, while corrections are slow and shallow.
🧠 The Logic: Physics Meets Market Structure
This indicator determines the trend direction by calculating the Slope (Velocity) of price swings.
ZigZag Calculation: It first identifies market swings (Highs and Lows) using a standard pivot detection algorithm.
Slope Calculation: It calculates the velocity of every completed leg using the formula: $Slope = \frac{|Price Change|}{|Time Duration|}$.
Trend Definition:
Uptrend : If the previous Up-move was fast (Impulse) and the subsequent Down-move is slower (Correction), the market is primed for an uptrend.
Downtrend : If the previous Down-move was fast (Impulse) and the subsequent Up-move is slower (Correction), the market is primed for a downtrend.
🔥 Key Features
1. Aggressive Real-Time Detection (No Lag)
Most structure indicators wait for a "Higher High" to confirm a trend, which often leads to late entries. This script uses an Aggressive Live Slope calculation:
It compares the current developing slope of the live price action against the slope of the previous completed leg.
Result: As soon as the current move becomes "steeper" (faster) than the previous correction, the trend flips immediately. This allows you to catch the "meat" of the move before a new pivot is even confirmed.
2. Fibonacci Validity Filter
Momentum alone isn't enough; we need structural integrity.
The script calculates the 78.6% Retracement level of the impulse leg.
If a correction moves deeper than this Fibonacci limit (on a closing basis), the trend structure is considered "broken" or "invalid," and the indicator switches to a Neutral state. This filters out choppy/ranging markets.
3. Multi-Timeframe (MTF) Dashboard
A customizable dashboard on the chart allows for fractal analysis. You can view the trend state (UP/DOWN/NEUTRAL) across 9 different timeframes (1m to 1M) simultaneously.
Green Row : Uptrend
Red Row : Downtrend
Gray : Neutral/Indeterminate
4. Smart Visuals
Background Colo r: Changes dynamically (Teal for Bullish, Red for Bearish, Gray for Neutral) to give you an instant read of the market state.
Slope Labels : Displays the calculated numeric slope on the chart, helping you visualize the momentum difference between impulse and corrective waves.
Invalidation Levels : Automatically plots the invalidation line (Stop Loss level) based on the market structure.
🛠️ Settings & Inputs
Strategy Settings
Pivot Deviation Length : Sensitivity of the ZigZag calculation (Default: 5). Lower numbers = more sensitive to small swings.
Max Retracement % : The Fibonacci limit for a valid correction (Default: 78.6%).
Min Bars for Live Calc : To prevent noise, the script waits for this many bars after a pivot before calculating the "Live Slope" (Default: 3).
Dashboard Settings
Show Dashboard : Toggle the table on/off.
Timeframe Toggles : Enable/Disable specific timeframes (1m, 5m, 15m, 30m, 1H, 4H, 1D, 1W, 1M) to suit your trading style.
🎯 How to Use
Wait for Background Change : When the background turns Teal, it indicates that a corrective pullback has ended and a new impulse with high velocity has begun.
Check Invalidation : Look at the plotted Stop Loss Level. If price closes below this line, the trade idea is invalid.
Confirm with Dashboard : Use the table to ensure the higher timeframes (e.g., 1H, 4H) align with your current chart's direction for higher probability setups.
Disclaimer : This tool is designed for trend analysis and educational purposes. Past performance (momentum) is not indicative of future results. Always manage your risk.

How to trade ?
Based on my approach, I don’t use RSI to catch reversals. Instead, I use it to trade continuations—when the lower timeframe (LTF) RSI aligns with the higher timeframe (HTF) trend. I simply wait for the LTF RSI to move in the same direction as the HTF RSI and then take the continuation trade. Please check the snapshots for a clearer understanding of how these trades work.
Trade less, trade better!

Trend Strength IndicatorThis is a Trend Strength Indicator that shows you the immediate trend and historical trend of price for up to 7 higher timeframes.
It shows the strength of each timeframe by showing a red or green dot based on where price is at compared to the previous higher timeframe candle. The brighter red or green the dot is, the stronger the trend is compared to that higher timeframe candle.
The colors and timeframes can be customized to suit your preference and you can also turn off as many timeframes as you’d like if you want less time frames to show up on the indicator.
It also includes alerts for when all timeframes are bullish or all timeframes are bearish.
Keep these timeframes set to higher time frames than your chart so you can trade in the direction of the overall higher timeframe trend.
Bullish Scoring & Colors
If the current candle close is above the midline of the higher time frame candle, it is given a score of 1 and a dark green dot. If the current candle close is above the higher timeframe candle body, then it is given a score of 2 and a medium green dot. If the current candle close is above the high of the higher time frame candle, it is given a score of 3 and a bright green dot.
The higher the score the stronger the bullish trend and the brighter green the dot will be.
Bearish Scoring & Colors
If the current candle close is below the midline of the higher timeframe candle, it is given a score of -1 and a dark red dot. If the current candle close is below the higher timeframe candle body, then it is given a score of -2 and a medium red dot. If the current candle close is below the low of the higher timeframe candle, it is given a score of -3 and a bright red dot.
The lower the score, the stronger the bearish trend and the brighter red the dot will be.
Trend Scoring Modes
We gave you the option to set the trend scoring mode to either score based on price above or below the midline for quick and easy trend identification, or using the midline, candle body and highs and lows to give you a more detailed view of the trend strength. You can switch between these modes by selecting your preferred mode in the settings panel. The default is Open, High, Low, Close + Midline.
Sending Trend Direction To External Indicators
We coded in the ability to use the trend strength score as a signal that you can use to filter other indicators. This feature is great for notifying signal generating indicators what direction the market is trending in so that the signal generating indicator only gives signals in the direction of the trend.
This feature works by providing a data output of 1, 0 or -1. 1 means the trend is bullish, 0 means the trend is neutral and -1 means the trend is bearish.
This score is calculated by using the score of each timeframe that is turned on and checking if all timeframes are in the same direction or not. So if 3 timeframes are turned on and they are all bullish, the indicator will provide a data output of 1. This tells your external indicators that the trend is bullish.
This data output can be found in the data window and is labeled Trend Direction To Send To External Indicators.
At the bottom of the settings panel, there is a setting called Trend Score Threshold For External Indicators. This setting is the score threshold that all timeframes will need to meet to allow a trend strength signal to go through. So if set to 1, then all timeframes must be scored 1 or higher for bullish or -1 or lower for bearish. If set to 2, then all timeframes must be 2 or higher for bullish or -2 or lower for bearish. If set to 3, then all timeframes must be 3 for bullish or -3 for bearish. If all timeframes have met this threshold, then a bullish or bearish signal can be sent to your external indicator as a trend filter.
Labels
There are labels to the right of each row of dots, telling you which timeframe is which so you can easily identify what timeframe each row is showing the trend for.
Alerts
You can set alerts for when all timeframes are bullish or when all timeframes are bearish. If you have some time frames turned off at the time of creating your alerts, then it will only require all timeframes that are on to be all bullish or bearish to generate an alert. Make sure to set your alerts to once per bar close to ensure you don’t get premature alerts that aren’t yet valid.
Backtesting
This indicator helps you quickly identify and backtest the trend direction, how strong that trend is on multiple timeframes and helps you spot reversals and trend continuations. Make sure you look back at a lot of historical data to see how price moves when trend changes take place and how well price continues in each direction compared to the overall trend. This will help you gain confidence in reading the indicator and using it to your advantage when trading.
Best Way To Use The Indicator
This indicator is designed to help you quickly identify the trend on various different timeframes. The brighter the green dots are, the stronger the bullish trend is. The brighter the red dots are, the stronger the bearish trend is.
Trade in the direction of the trend. If the colors are mixed green and red, then price is likely to chop back and forth, so only trade the extremes of the ranges when that happens.
When most of the lower timeframe dots are the same color, that means it is a strong trend and you should place trades in the direction of the trend to be safe. The lower timeframes will start trending before the higher timeframes, so take notice of the lower timeframe colors starting to agree with each other and then take advantage of the trend that is forming.
You can also spot reversals with this indicator by watching for the lower timeframes to start changing color after a strong trend in one direction. The lower timeframes will start to change color one by one, indicating that the trend is actually changing direction.
For best results, make sure you wait for the trend to show all bullish or all bearish at the same time before you place any trades. If you can be patient enough to do that, you will increase the probability of winning your trade because you are trading with the direction of the overall higher timeframe trend which is typically an easy way to win more trades. Of course wait for pullbacks during the trend so you can keep a tight stop loss after entering your trade.
If you are scalping, you can turn off the higher timeframes and just use the 1 hour through 1 day. This won’t be as reliable as using all timeframes and waiting for them to align, but it is suitable for scalping quick intraday movements.
Other Indicators To Pair This With
Use this in combination with our Higher Timeframe Candle Levels indicator so you can see all of these levels being used to calculate the trend strength scores and watch how price reacts to those levels. You should also use our Breakout Scanner to find other markets with strong trends so you always know which market is trending the strongest and can trade those. Trend Strength Indicator, Higher Timeframe Candle Levels and the Breakout Scanner all use the same levels and calculate the trend scores the same way so they are designed to work all together to help you quickly be able to read a chart and find what direction to trade in.

Period Range AnalyzerThis indicator analyzes a specific periodic range, which can start from a fixed date or a defined lookback period. It draws percentage levels and colored zones between the highest and lowest price. It also displays a detailed information table, which shows the price's position within the range in "Trend" mode, and the relative strength of currency pairs in "Forex" mode. The current price position is also indicated by a label with a percentage value and the name of the corresponding zone.
User Guide
Calculation Method
This setting determines how the indicator defines the range used for the calculation.
Lookback Period: In this mode, the indicator uses the last N candles (the number can be specified in the "Lookback Period (bars)" field). The range (the highest and lowest price) is "floating," meaning it is recalculated with each new candle based on the last N candles.
Date Based: In this mode, the calculation starts from a fixed date and time you select. The indicator finds the opening price of the start date and continuously tracks the highest and lowest price from that point on. This mode is ideal for measuring performance from a specific event (e.g., start of a week/month/year, news).
Data Handling Note: If you select a date in "Date Based" mode for which no data is available on the current timeframe (e.g., switching to a very low timeframe), the indicator will automatically use the earliest available candle as the starting point. All calculations (Open, Max, Min, Range, Percentage, Change, Trend) are based on this actual start date.
Start Date & Time
This setting is only active in "Date Based" mode.
Here you can specify the fixed starting point for the calculation.
The specified time is in the Exchange timezone.
Important limitation: Due to TradingView platform limits, visual elements (levels, zones) are only drawn for a maximum of 250 candles back. If the set date is older than this, the calculation still applies to the entire period (from the set date), but the drawing only covers the last 250 candles. The table always displays accurate data for the entire period.
When switching to a higher timeframe, the range may restart from a slightly later bar due to TradingView's bar alignment. For best accuracy, set your timeframe first, then select the start date.
Table Mode
This setting controls what data the information table displays.
Trend: This is the default mode, which works on any symbol (stock, index, crypto, etc.). It displays information related to the trend and the range.
Forex: This is a special mode used to measure the strength of currency and crypto pairs. It only works on symbols with exactly 6 characters (e.g., "EURUSD", "BTCUSD"). It treats the first 3 characters as the base currency (e.g., EUR) and the last 3 as the quote currency (e.g., USD). If the symbol does not have 6 characters, the table will automatically display in "Trend" mode.
Trend
This trend determination operates based on the formation order of the high and low within the analyzed range:
Its switch is located in the “Table Additional Rows” menu.
Bullish: Indicated if the low was formed before the high (on different candles). Or if they formed on the same candle, it was a bullish candle.
Bearish: Indicated if the high was formed before the low (on different candles). Or if they formed on the same candle, it was a bearish candle.
Neutral: Indicated if the high and low formed on the same candle, and it was a "doji" candle (close = open).
Upper & Lower Threshold
These settings (Upper Threshold (%) and Lower Threshold (%) in the "Label Coloring" section) primarily determine the state (Bullish/Bearish/Neutral) of the top row of the table.
The logic is not based on the percentage change of the price movement, but on the current price's position within the range, where the bottom of the range is 0% and the top is 100%.
Upper Threshold (%): The percentage level (e.g., 60.0) above which the indicator considers the price position "Bullish" (or "Strong").
Lower Threshold (%): The percentage level (e.g., 40.0) below which the indicator considers the price position "Bearish" (or "Weak").
If the price is between the two (e.g., between 40% and 60%), the signal is Neutral.
Secondary function: These thresholds also control the color of the label next to the price, provided the "Dynamic Label Coloring" option is enabled.
