CM Sling Shot SystemSling Shot System + Even Better System.
I get this email about a Trend Following System that sells for $1000 but I could get it that day for only $500!!!
I watch the video showing this Amazing System which may have taken me an entire minute to figure out the code.
I code it up. And Hey…It’s not a bad system. It’s good for people who may need a Entry Signal to get them in a Trending Move, and KEEP them in a Trending Move while providing a defined Stop.
So I thought I would save the community the Very Fair price of Only $500 for a system that consists of a couple of EMA’s and a few Rules…and give it to you for free.
See Link Below for Main Chart Showing 2nd System!!!

Directional Trend Index (DTI) This technique was described by William Blau in his book "Momentum,
Direction and Divergence" (1995). His book focuses on three key aspects
of trading: momentum, direction and divergence. Blau, who was an electrical
engineer before becoming a trader, thoroughly examines the relationship between
price and momentum in step-by-step examples. From this grounding, he then looks
at the deficiencies in other oscillators and introduces some innovative techniques,
including a fresh twist on Stochastics. On directional issues, he analyzes the
intricacies of ADX and offers a unique approach to help define trending and
non-trending periods.
Directional Trend Index is an indicator similar to DM+ developed by Welles Wilder.
The DM+ (a part of Directional Movement System which includes both DM+ and
DM- indicators) indicator helps determine if a security is "trending." William
Blau added to it a zeroline, relative to which the indicator is deemed positive or
negative. A stable uptrend is a period when the DTI value is positive and rising, a
downtrend when it is negative and falling.

MAC-Z Indicator [LazyBear]This indicator is a composite of MACD and Z-Score (requested by @ChartAt). The general idea is that counter-trend component of the Z-score is used to adjust/improve the trend component of the MACD. The advantage is that it is a more accurate and “assumption-free” and can more accurately describe how a market or stock actually works in a given time frame.
I have also added support to smooth out the MAC-Z using Laguerre filter (Thanks @TheLark for the excellent LMA). Note that smoothing removes the "noise" component additive of Z-Score, so you may miss some good signals. By default Laguerre smoothing is OFF, I suggest playing with the Gamma to see if you can find a proper trade-off value.

Indicator: Trend Trigger FactorIntroduced by M.H.Pee, Trend Trigger Factor is designed to keep the trader trading with the trend.
System rules according to the developer:
* If the 15-day TTF is above 100 (indicating an uptrend), you will want to be in long positions.
* If the 15-day TTF is below -100, you will want to be short.
* If it is between -100 and 100, you should remain with the current position.

Trend Analysis Index In essence, it is simply the standard deviation of the last x bars of a
y-bar moving average. Thus, the TAI is a simple trend indicator when prices
trend with authority, the slope of the moving average increases, and when
prices meander in a trendless range, the slope of the moving average decreases.
FREE INDICATOR: POLARIZED FRACTAL EFFICIENCYLooking for something other than a moving average to help determine not only a trend's strength, but also it's direction? Try PFE!
PFE was developed by Hans Hannula that was invented to determine price efficiency over a user-defined time period.
The Polarized Fractal Efficiency indicator is, in the essence, an exponentially smoothed ratio of the length of two lines: (1) of a straight line between today’s close and the close Period days ago, and (2) of a broken line connecting all Close points between today and Period days ago. The indicator output varies between -100 and 100. The theory behind this indicator is that if it is >50 (or <-50) then the market is likely to reverse its trend from positive to negative (or from negative to positive).
Other usage:
Securities with a PFE greater than zero are deemed to be trending up, while a reading of less than zero indicates the trend is down. The strengh of the trend is measured by the position of the PFE relative to the zero line. As a general rule, the further the PFE value is away from zero, the stronger and more efficient the given trend is. A PFE value that fluctuates around the zero line could indicate that the supply and demand for the security are in balance and price may trade sideways.
As with all indicators, finding something that works well along side this would be the most beneficial way to use it.
Perhaps something like the Choppiness Index (related idea below) could do the trick.

Indicators: Traders Dynamic Index, HLCTrends and Trix Ribbon1) Trix Ribbon
===============================================================
This was built on request. Many Stock/FX traders overlay multiple Trix lines to form the ribbon, this indicator makes it easy.
Also, optionally this can plot a BollingerBand on Trix_1.

2) High/Low/Close Trend Indicator
===============================================================
Simple indicator using EMAs of H/L/C. If blue line is above the red line, the trend is up, else down. Keep an eye on the zero line too.
3) Traders Dynamic Index
===============================================================
This hybrid indicator helps to decipher and monitor market conditions related to trend direction, market strength, and market volatility.
TDI has the following components:
* Green line = RSI Price line
* Red line = Trade Signal line
* Blue lines = Volatility Bands
* Orange line = Market Base Line
Trend Direction - Immediate and Overall:
----------------------------------------------------
* Immediate = Green over Red...price action is moving up.
Red over Green...price action is moving down.
* Overall = Orange line trends up and down generally between the lines 32 & 68. Watch for Orange line to bounces off these lines for market reversal. Trade long when price is above the Orange line, and trade short when price is below.
Market Strength & Volatility - Immediate and Overall:
----------------------------------------------------
* Immediate = Green Line - Strong = Steep slope up or down.
Weak = Moderate to Flat slope.
* Overall = Blue Lines - When expanding, market is strong and trending. When constricting, market is weak and in a range. When the Blue lines are extremely tight in a narrow range, expect an economic announcement or other market condition to spike the market.
Entry conditions:
----------------------------------------------------
* Scalping - Long = Green over Red,
Short = Red over Green
* Active - Long = Green over Red & Orange lines
Short = Red over Green & Orange lines
* Moderate - Long = Green over Red, Orange, & 50 lines
Short= Red over Green, Green below Orange & 50 line
Exit conditions:
----------------------------------------------------
If Green crosses either Blue lines, consider exiting when the Green line crosses back over the Blue line.
* Long = Green crosses below Red
* Short = Green crosses above Red

Indicators: MMA and 3 oscillatorsGuppy Multiple Moving Averages
---------------------------------
Developed by Daryl Guppy, the basic idea of Multiple moving average(MMA) is to view the trend as two band of moving averages – short term band and long term band.
Shortterm averages capture the inferred behaviour of traders and long term represents the investors. Uses fractal repetition to identify points of agreement and disagreement which precede significant trend changes.

Guppy Oscillator
---------------------------------
The Guppy MMA Oscillator, developed by Leon Wilson, is an oscillator representation of difference between GMMA ribbons. Look for signal crosses for the triggers.
Linda Raschke (3/10) Oscillator
---------------------------------
This oscillator is similar to having a MACD of (3,10,16), the nuances are explained by Linda Raschke in her manual "Professional Trading Techniques":

Ian Oscillator

Simple EMA difference converted to an oscillator. Use the signal crosses as triggers.
FREE INDICATOR: CHOPPINESS INDEX "TREND DETECTION FROM CHAOS"About:
The Choppiness Index was created by E.W. Dreiss out of chaos theory, and attempts to gauge the current market's trendiness.
I've seen a few versions of this floating around, but this was built off the true version as described in the original 1993 release, you can read more about it here: www.edwards-magee.com
Usage:
Values above 61.8 are considered very choppy, values below 38.2 are considered very trendy, but values along the entire scale can help you determine position sizing, or even weather you should be getting into this trade or not.
If you are looking for a new way to know weather the market is trending, about to trend, or just going sideways, this very handy indicator for algorithmic trading may be your answer.
